I shall be in this evening. I have already been making efforts to not go near any Saints orientated distractions, as I have found from today that my stomach is lurching at the thought. A sure sign that the nerves are getting in there. So I have been trying to find other things to do than catch up on all things Saints. One thing I did, on getting home this evening was to watch a film on iPlayer that a friend told me about, called Third Star. It was very good, and starred Benedict Cumberbatch and JJ Feild, who I saw last working together in a BBC adaptation of William Goldwyn's, To The Ends Of The Earth. I think we all know about Mr Cumberbatch by now, but JJ Feild is slightly lesser known. So I looked up his notable performances, and he has recently played local Eastleigh resident and former popster, the late Heinz Burt in a film called Telstar, which is the title of the major hit single of the The Tornados, the 1960s band that Heinz was vocalist and bassist for. Eventually, Heinz went solo and had a hit single called Just Like Eddie [about Eddie Cochran]. When he toured and when he recorded, he nearly always used his producer, Joe Meek's own in-house band. They were called... [bollix..!] The Saints..!
I'm in the Kingsland too, but I am going for a diiferent look, white and red, for a change. Except for my hat, that's got no white on it.
Mine too. I forget about it then I remember, and it's like remembering a dreaded dentist appointment scheduled for the next day (but hopefully with a more pleasant outcome than the dentists though).
