There's been a few articles now about the signings we may make this summer, and a lot of us have included AG in our teams for 2011/2012. My question is what are the chances of him coming? He looks passionate every time he puts on that Black and Amber shirt, but when he has been asked or pressed for my details (admittedly by Burnsy) he seems more evasive than most players, and that's saying something.
 
i think he's given the standard answer of a man who has thoroughly enjoyed his team here and would be happy to stay permanently yet doesn't want to burn his bridges with the club he has a longer-term contract with. isn't there the added nugget of him getting a pay rise if cardiff go up?
 
i think i must be shrt of sleep sagegee cos thats another one just gone whoosh obver my heard. must be time for my afterbnoon zed. back pleasantly.
 
If Cardiff don't go up I think there is a decent chance of us signing him. If they do go up we aren't going to be able to match the salary he will automatically get there because of the promotion clauses. I would guess it will probably be atleast double what we would offer.
 
Like many of us, I'd love it if we could keep him permanently. We've no chance, though, if Cardiff go up. :(
