I would argue it's worth paying to see more than it is to see Barca. As I have said before, defending is just as important as attacking is. Defending is just as much an art as attacking is and one which the more disciplined will master, as everyone from a young age only wants to attack and score. Over the two legs our style of play defeated Barca's and deservedly so. There is no right or wrong way to play football, there is only an effective way and an ineffective way. Against top sides you have to not only play your game, but adapt to counter the strengths of the other team and exploit their weaknesses. That was Barcelona's mistake. We recognised that we had to defend against their relentless attacks and hit them on the counter and in the air, where they struggle. Barcelona however only thought to play the way they know and not consider what we would offer to the game. If the positions were reversed and Barca were told they had to play Chelsea's way and Chelsea Barca's way, Barcelona would find themselves almost clueless.

Don't know a lot about football do you Declan. Defending is as much of a skill as is attacking, just doesn't get the recognition imho. If you don't like watching good defence, then there is something wrong with your conception of football. Imagine two Barcelona's playing each other, Borefest in a nutshell.

Too right Yurilly. And that's exactly why I posted yesterday that Guardiola has been outsmarted twice by RDM, and in my opinion PG has confirmed that he is NOT the man for Chelsea. All those superstars, Nou Camp, 10 men , Cahill injured, and they STILL couldn't come up with a game plan to beat us. Talk about no plan B !!!!!!!!!!!
If Roman and his dead **** team of Buck and Gourley don't sign up RDM ,they really are totally insane.
