    Questions in the title.

Obvious shouts go to Poborsky, Djemba-Djemba, Veron, Forlan and Nani.. But I think we should look past those ones.

I'm going for Dion Dublin. Injured on his debut, he never really got the chance to shine. Could've been a United great!

I'm wondering why you've included Nani in that list of dreadful players?

The only player that should be considered dreadful in that list is Djemba-Djemba. The rest have all proved that they're very talented. Just not for United.

I'm actually sitting here in disbelieve. Why on earth have you included Nani in that list? He's proven that he's more than capable of carrying a team. The only reason that he isn't as good as Ronaldo is because SAF has told him not to perform tricks. Ronaldo was a strong character at United. But, Nani is more of laid back player. At the moment he's finding it hard to play whilst he's on restrictions in terms of freedom.

To get that kind of reaction, to be perfectly frank. This is how sane people find some of the articles posted by a member that shall remain nameless. Annoying isn't it?

Now that's out of the way, how about picking a player?

Nani is in this due to the hatred of him.

I would put Rooney, he had far more potential than he has shown now and has regressed since the 05 days in my opinion. He really could have been a super star but now has blown it.

Neil Webb. One of the best all round midfielders in the country at the time, joined us and then snapped his achilles tendon on international duty after a few games and turned into Gazza - fat and disappointing but still able to produce some magic. Had he stayed fit he could have been amazing and could have won us the title that much sooner.

More recently, Hargreaves' long term injury has been disappointing, given how much he brought to the team in 2007/08. And Obertan has thus far failed to show any of the ability that he was supposed to have when we signed him. I remember the commentator saying we were seeing something very special when he made his debut. I'm still waiting to see it...

i dont think its a problem what nani does, he has been ONE of our best players in a very poor season and squad, he is no ronaldo or rooney of last year, he is not even a vidic

    George Best

A hopeless drunk who let down his wife, family and the great Matt Busby. A man who God blessed with the same skills as Pele but sadly never plied his trade and world level denying himself and everybody the chance to revel in his majesty. <ok>

Ok Terry let down his family and has had every manager since ranieri sacked.

Number 2. Best was better than Pele, so were quite a few players actually.

Oh and by far Veron. He was world class in italy and despite not being horrific over here still didnt reach anything close to his true level. Probs coz fergie played him in so many positions but his natural deep lying playmaker, which is ironic seeing as he would fit in with us to T now.

Djemba was just a crap footballer. Where is he playing now? In uzbekistan or something.
