How well have the mags performed results wise against the top teams compared to us, if anyone can get the stats out, curious?
Going to the SoL is just as difficult as going to SJP with the form the current teams are in? Please tell me people saying that are just joking.
I agree with Mancini, but we have a tougher trip than any of them, away to City...they are at home to us! If and probably when we lose that game, it's all down to goal difference. If we need to close a gap of 8 goals in two games, I'd much rather be playing Swansea H and Sunderland A than Newcastle A and QPR H. I'm hoping Fergie goes and plays not to lose, as opposed to trying to batter city. If needs be though we'll do it the hard way, like always. Hopefully.
Of course Manchini will say this, he is playing mind games with SAF. He would say the same if Man U were playing Chelsea and Spurs. Sunderland outplayed Man City at theirs, and beat them at home so he know we are not an easy prospect. Both stadiums are tough for any team to go to, but the Mags edge it at the moment. It helps have strikers who can score goals consistently.
Although I think Mancini was not even trying to be accurate, he probably was. It matters not because what you see on paper rarely matches up to the reality.
Doesn't really matter which is the tougher of the two City v Newcastle or us v united. Bottom line is Mancini made a statement that claimed to suggest United haven't got a difficult run in after the derby. Well if they fail to win the title maybe he can reflect that there was only one team in the premier league he couldnt beat, losing 5 points in the process and that team just happened to be easy Sunderland. That is arrogance
Could the skunks get any further up their own arses Chappaz and his favourite condecending tones Cheik and his arrogance and some new tit called top dog. The fonts of all knowledge of football, not!
