Just back from the game. Some of the stuff I've read on here is outrageous, thought we played pretty well today.

SKD - 7 - good distribution, some great claims. Sat right behind their 1st goal and he saw it very late. No blame.
Butterfield - 5 Crossing was poor by his standards. Without that he doesn't offer too much.
Fonte - 5 great block in the 1st half, but too often has to recover from poor positioning/over-commitment
Jos - 7 Didn't deserve to be on the losing team.
Fox - 6 Got forward well.
    Lallana - 8 - Our best player.
    Cork - 6
Hammond 6 - Both Cork and Hammond never really got hold of the game like they did against Pboro. Not shocking though
Chaplow - 7 Always in the right place, shame about his touch sometimes but always gives 100% and was a constant thorn for Boro
Lambert - 5 Didnt win his usual number of headers. Hold up play was uncharacteristically poor. Worked pretty hard closing down though.
Sharp - 7 - As above really but got the goal that he's in the team to get. Worked pretty hard.

Stay with the team, we'll be promoted either Monday or Saturday. And for those of you who didn't go there, don't criticise the effort, you don't see anything other than what's in focus...

We played ok it's just our midfield that let us down, oh and Lambert had a off day.

I actually think Lambert was at least as good as Sharp. Without Lambert's awareness Sharp wouldn't have scored.

Yes but that was the only thing Lambert did, it was a all over off day for him.

Yeah he's usually much better, and I think you're judging him by his usual standards. What else did Sharp do? To be honest, pretty much the whole team had an off day.

Having said that, we still dominated the game for long periods, just didn't have a cutting edge.

Sharp had little or no service from midfield or Lambert. But at least he was a constant hassle for their players, he never gave up.

So Lambert has to provide service for Sharp? That hardly seems fair! What about the service to Lambert?

I think we need to be less reliant on Lambert, premier league defenders will shut him out of games sometimes and we need another option.

We created nothing on the right without chaplow. Guly just didn't create anything!

I agree the punts up to Lambert today annoyed me, you could see he was having a off day were nothing came off.

So there was no point, we can't always hope Lambert can get a knock on etc.

Davis - 7 - Commanded his area well, can't ask much more. Wasn't at fault for the goals.

    Butterfield - 5 - Pants
Fonte - 7 - Made up for the silly foul with some important clearances.
    Hooiveld - 7 - Solid as usual.
Fox - 6 - Unlucky with the free kick and played OK.

Chaplow - 6 - Same old, same old. Ran a lot, but had the touch of a sex offender and no end product.
    Hammond - 5 - Too safe.
Cork - 6 - Did well, but had to play so hard to keep a foothold in the game that he didn't get much done.
Lallana - 7 - Good movement from Lallana, a decent effort.

Lambert - 6 - Not his best game. To be fair though, he didn't get much support from the midfield.
Sharp - 8 MOTM - Our most likely goal threat throughout.

Guly - 6 - Unlucky with his long range effort, but otherwise did very little.
Schneiderlin - 7 - Asserted himself on the game in the short spell he had. Unfortunately it wasn't enough to change the game.

    Adkins - 5 - Couldn't change the game.

Guly has lost a lot of confidence mainly due to us and I mean us as fans who allow mindless ****ers to boo and slag him off.

He used to try and go forward at every opportunity now he prefers to play defensively cause he is to scared to make a mistake.

Well ****ing done to all that contributed to this take a bow.

Exactly mate and its a shame still the assholes will get their way can't wait til next season if Premier League defenders keep Lallana quiet all season or if Spider loses every midfield battle let's see who they turn on next.

It'll obviously be Harding, Puncheon, Hammond and Barnard - perhaps Fonte as well, oh and Davis, oh let me add Butterfield

There we go we may as well say no more once they set their sights on someone its game over!

They will be here soon scoring Lambert, Lallana and Spiders sub appearance higher than anyone else it truely is laughable.
