Me! After 7 long years, today could be the day that we finally return to where we belong.

FUUUUUUCCCCCCKKKKK. I went out tonight (at the Herts Uni forum if anyone knows it) and this was all I could talk about all night. This could well turn out to be the best day of my life.

I have been here before, Like a few others on here but this time has a different feel, I think it is the belief and passion of the people running our Club that have given us all a belief that their is more bigger and better things to come.
Nigel Adkins name along side Ted Bates and Lawrie Mac will do nicely for now but some how I have this feeling he will become a even bigger name to Southampton supporters and Mr Cortese will become Mr Southampton and of course dear Markus Liebherr's name will always be God

I have entered my worrying phase....I will never change. Both Sharp and Jos mentioned our tv record. Wish this was a 3.00 game, even though I would then miss it. I hope we get the right result and all the 'wonderful fans' will have the day of their life. COYR

Bit like you Fran....however this time I think we'll lose the TV hoodoo....I think we'll do it today....to all the fans travelling, enjoy the delights of M'boro and well done for brilliant away support...itcouldn't happen to a better club.

Always nervous but i think the 5 pt gap will mean that we go for the jugular and get stuck in to the Boro to ensure job gets done today their home form is patchy so i really believe that we will do the business so that we can all enjoy the Coventry game already up and just waiting for Reading to slip up at Birmingham

Check list:

Empty out Mrs FLTs car (well I'm not taking mine there!)
Make sarnies for the trip
Keep checking phone to make sure I'm still picking up TomW19 at the station.
Drop daughter off at her friends
Answer the zillion good luck texts I'll be getting from family and friends (everyone loves The Saints)
Get to station
Drive on to the M1
Check for match day tickets every junction til about Leeds until my stomach finally accept that I have them.
Get to ground
Drive round for half an hour looking for carpark.

I can't believe how confident I am. If Reading slip up we could well end up being top aswell by tonight and Pompey should be down! This could be a wonderful today.

Also feeling confident! Very nervous as I made my way to Palace and Pboro but today we have that bit of breathing space that means we won't be too nervous on the pitch. Couple in with that recent away performances with Boro's current form (especially at home) and that = promotion!
