What has been you favourite away ground to visit this season?
In the past 20 seasons?
And who would you say has the best away support nowadays (apart from us of course) ;)
 
In terms of the occasion Spurs or West Ham by far. Proper Derbies. The atmosphere is electric when we come to town and you won't hear anything like it unless you go abroad.

Eastlands for me is the best by a mile though.

I really like the Emirates (Library). Modern yet unlike Old Trafford still feels like a football ground, obviously the higher up you are the better.

Villa Park is decent as well, as is SOL <ok>

Best away support I've heard at the Bridge would probably be Barcelona or Atletico Madrid, in this country probably Forest.

I'd say the best away support in the country in terms of numbers is easily United but vocally I think West Ham are begrudgingly as good as any I've heard. Lost respect for Spurs when they abandoned their team at Wembley

went to the Etihad for my first time this season and it's a top class ground and they create a pretty darn good atmosphere.

Same, unlike United fans City are proper passionate football fans, nothing artificial about that club
 
I've always enjoyed the trip to Fulham.Loads of character!!! Villa and Anfield are OK as well!

Seriously? City have a strong hardcore of 25,000 or so match going fans but the rest of your post is comedy, especially as you're a Chelsea fan. You must be one of the newbies.

If newbie means I was around to see us beat you at OT as regularly as clockwork then yes I am.

Old Trafford is full of plastics and tourists, hence why United struggle to sell out midweek games

The Etihad is far more intimidating with a much better atmostphere you dimwit, and I saw a thread on your board admitting how **** OT was alot of the time atmosphere wise.
 
It's well known that the proper hardcore United fans only turn out for City, Liverpool and Leeds, and the bigger CL ties. The games against the likes of Wigan are tourists.
 
You're a pair of jokers. There's no chance you clowns experienced Old Trafford, Maine Road or Stamford Bridge in the 70's, 80's or 90's. Parts of Old Trafford are now a corporate fest which is a shame but I've never seen United advertise in the MEN for upcoming games whereas the London Evening Standard regularly does for Chelsea games. City havent filled the Council House once this season. Chelsea tickets are a piece of piss to get hold of, even for the biggest games, if you ever fancy going to watch them let me know and I'll sort you out with a couple. Pair of clowns, brilliant!

Wrong again you Manc twat.

And Chelsea games aren't easy to get hold of, not the Category A games anyway.

United are regularly advertising games on Capital and even had to do so for their first home game of the season.
 
The Etihad hasn't become much of a tourist attraction (yet) like OT, The Emirates and The Bridge have and that was clear to see last month! I did not expect it to be as loud as it was, when they scored their second the noise was unreal and I can't remember the last time I've heard noise like that at the football tbh.

I was a season ticket holder at the bridge throughout the 90s actually, didn't go to away games due to my age and me Dad never bothering.
Cat A games are near impossible to get hold of, just like OT. It relies on a loyalty point basis, unless you buy tickets through some Thomas Cook deal or through an exchange somewhere.

How are we clowns? We've both been to OT and the Etihad as away fans and are therefore neutral, we are both saying the exact same thing despite not knowing each other outside of this.

My flatmate who is a Wolves fan that has been to both hates Old Trafford yet loved the Etihad and said the same things.

United fans do not come close to City's in terms of passion and atmosphere IMO. We lost both games 2-1 when I went and I travelled to both expecting to lose so I have no reason to be biased.

Talk to any football fan that has been to both and 99/100 will echo our sentiments.

I can get a Chav ticket every home game, not hospitality, and occasionally sanction it.

Precisely DL, I don't know why he's getting so defensive. There is a thread somewhere on the United board talking about how poor the atmosphere is at OT.
