Relegation against Burnley was a bit dumb but I've no problem and wholly enjoy them when there's actually something to celebrate.

2011/12 Nigel Lifting the Championship Winners Cup in the air would be PUUUURFECT

Must admit pitch invasions do make me smile. My faveourite being last years where my mate went arse over tit within 3 paces of getting on the hallowed turf!

Last year was great fun, hugged Rickie and planted a slobbery kiss on his cheek, nothing like homoeroticism.

I never understood having that pitch invasion, one of the lowest points in clubs history. I did go on however and took a bit of turf not being sure if I'd ever be able to watch Saints again. Last years invasion was unreal, and really well handled by the club by stopping the Walsall support imo.

When the players had gone off and some of the Northam were giving it all that to the Burnley fans, me and my dad who were say in the Chapel walked down onto the pitch. (First time on the pitch)

We savoured the moment before a swarm of Saints fans came running back towards us from the Northam.

One person screaming 'they've released the dogs!'

Exciting!

Leaped over the barriers and out to the car park before going back home...

Yeah you can still see on some videos everyone running away all of a sudden <laugh> Weren't there a few Pompey fans in Burnleys end that day as well?

We've only had 2 major ones really

(Staying up in 08 and Promotion in 11) - Not too much complaint from me, last year was a highlight!

I wonder if we'll make it on vs Boro! Charlton did it away somewhere last week...

Yeah they ran on at Carlisle.
Brighton ran on at Walsall last season, Newcastle ran on at Plymouth a few years ago, and the Skates infested Wigan's pitch after staying up several seasons ago.

Depends on the stewards really.

Walsall must have got sick of all these teams rubbing there noses in it, at least they had something to cheer about at our place. That final day was special

Great day that! "You are going up" vs "You are staying up" got a soft spot for them after that!

I'm not a fan of pitch invasions as that is what over excited children do.

I would rather see the Players do a circuit of the pitch so that all fans can show their appreciation.

However there will be the numpties who will run on the pitch and spoil it all for the majority.

That is my miserable rant over for today.

There is a possibility of a pitch invasion and lap of honour - it's been done at SMS before, and QPR even lifted the trophy on the pitch after their invasion
