....been so excited, nervous or just plain worried about the visit of Barnsley? We are Bristol City of course, so I guess we should always be prepared to do things the hard way and it would be just like us to screw it up and then need a result at Burnley! I feel like a welshman in a field of sheep.........don't know what to do, but I know what i want to happen! Gonna' be a good 'un though thats for sure!
We have to hope that the lads play with the same belief, intensity and pride that they have these past few weeks. The results at Forest, Brum and home to WHam show that on our day we can play with anytime in this division. Christ, we beat Soton both home & away. We need an early goal on Saturday to settle us down and then we should be allright. 3 points is nothing more than is expected - we don't want to go to Burnley looking for anything to be honest as things could go drastically wrong of the team gets nerves. Personally I hope that Stead gets a hatrick - he was the forgotten man for much of the season but has evidently run his socks off the past couple of months - I always thought he had a reputation as not being a team player but I've been thrilled with his commitment the past 10 or so games. I will be checking my smartphone between innings at my kid's baseball game this weekend to hopefully stop my a$$ from twitching!!!!!!!
Call it whatever you want but the name of Barnsley rarely comes up in conversation up here in the Canadian Rockies but truth is stranger than fiction. Went to the dentists this morning and got chatting to a rare Englishman in this part of the country and he was from Barnsley no less, and when I got home I needed a visit to my own private library (toilet to you) and decided to get some reading material from the library basket. Lo and behold it was a City programme from a game vs Notts Forest a few years ago and it included a report on our 5-3 win over guess who - Barnsley of course! Now if that isn't a doody-doo then I don't know what is. Is it a premonition or what? I just wish I knew if it was a positive one, but only Saturday will tell.
Have no fear, City will win on Saturday, and so keep our Championship status...............then next season, just watch us, goooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo
would have been tempted to leave out the comma..LOL...! but know what you mean...go from 20th 2011/12 to 9th? 2012/13 Could be a heavy pitch, we have had a lot of rain, at the moment the raindrop size would would sting if you didnt have a hat on and no hair!!!!! It will be nice if we can achieve safety with our own effort and not depend on the fraility of others.. C O Y Reddddddddddddddddzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
. lightening and all that, 5-3 probably not but a win hopefully so...I HAVE all my eggs in one basket !
