This is a story which will make any of you like Ronaldo, although I'm not sure how much I believe it. A good read nevertheless.

Very nice to hear and hope its true. Its not as if CR cannot afford to do so either. Messi sends £150,000 of his weekly wage to his charity fund for the poor and less well off back in Argentina.

Drogba also gives alot of time and money to charities in the Ivory Coast.
 
And Craig Bellamy builds schools in Africa. Well, pays for them anyway, I'm not suggesting his gets his toolbox out post season.
 
Always good to read about people who come across flashy etc, yet do help others out. I know he can afford it but it's not like he had to give him anything.
 
Nice to hear some positive stories about footballers, the press seem quick to publish the negative stuff so it's good that good work is getting noticed too.
