Unfortunately, Danny Sturridge seems a bit like that too.

Don't think Robben is the answer too injury prone and has never been able to put in a full shift, but he's defo the type of player we are crying out for, i'd like to see Adam Johnson come to the Bridge he's got good pace and think he could accomadate Torres very well, and comes up with a few goals too, however can't realy see Citeh leting him go, Also it could be agood time to cash in on Ashley Cole, if this was to happen i would'nt mind bringing in Leighton Baines of Everton think he's a good solid player who likes to get forward not to dissimilar to Cole, and i dont think he'd cost a fortune

I have to say, I think Gary Cahill is going to turn out to be a great signing. Apart from Kompany & maybe Vermaelen, I can't think of anyone I'd rather have coming in at Centre back and at 7 mil, he's a undoubted bargain.

I'd take Higuain though... Doesn't seem beyond the realms of possibility.

Agreed. A very good player and still young, 24 I think.

Seems alot cheaper than the other options being touted i.e Cavani and Falcao.

However I still think a winger should be priority and I'd like one of Hulk, Lavezzi or Hazard ideally. All could move in the summer and even without C.L footie we would be a step up.

Eden Hazard would be a good signing.

Read today on the bbc gossip column (I know it's a ****e source) that now Anelka has taken the reigns at Shanghai, he wants to make Didier his first signing!

I think we all know a winger and creative midfielder are priorities. Definitley want to be looking at Lavezzi or Wilian for the wingers. Creative midfielders are much harder to find. Modric really doesn't seem that good anymore. Big game bottler, which is exactly what we don't want.

Defo, he's being outshone by Cisse at the moment and apparently unhappy at being moved out of position

Just read on Bleacher report that Leighten Baines of Everton might be up for grabs due to Evertons finnancial situation, price said to be around five mil, also said that slur Alex might be sniffing around, think he would be a great addition to our squad..............

I would only buy Baines if we got rid of Cole Deano. Bertrand needs to be kept and is a very good prospect IMO!

At only 5 mil Tel you gotta admit he'd be great back up for Cole/Bertrand like 3rd choice, specialy in this day an age where most managers like to rotate
