    Hi All

If we get promoted would you prefer to play a Coventry team that are already relegated or one that has a small chance of staying up if they beat us, if we have to win on the same day to go up????

I think I would them to be already relegated, but what is the general consensus?

Already relegated, they will have nothing to play for and it sets them up for a battering.

Good question Ashby. I'd rather they were already relegated. Reason being there's always been a great atmosphere when we've played clubs that have already been assured of relegation/staying up etc (Southend in particular). It will be horrible if we've both got something to play for.

I've had enough of final day drama.

We won't be promoted before the Coventry game.

But 'if we were', then I'd put JWP on the bench.

Logic says an opposition with nothing left to play for would be less of a challenge than one fighting for survival, so that would be preferable.

Walsall surviving & the joy of their fans definitely added a lot to the experience last time out though. So a saints win, but Coventry still surviving (at p#mpey's expense!) would be a pretty good outcome!

I think in order to be promoted before the Cov game, we would have to have won/picked up at least two points from the Boro's and WHU would have to lose their next two games. I think.

    My head hurts <doh>

I'd prefer us not to be sending Coventry down. Two wins from Posh and Boro with West Ham dropping points would be fantastic too. Having some leeway and a party atmosphere is great at the end of the season.

If we win tomorrow , and west ham lose against Bristol which they could do , a win for bristol would alomst make them safe , then we will only need 1 point from Boro and or Coventry .

tomorrow is a MASSIVE game for West ham , pressure is on !!!!!!!!

Brizzle have been battling hard of late and it's possible that they could snatch something against West Ham.

we want a party atmosphere at SMS and if Cov are down, winning that game would be alot easier.
