Sorry spelling fascist, it's so obvious you don't like my opinion so you criticise something trivial like that.

Yes if you were from Shropshire I don't think they would make such a big deal about it, but once again your just another club I don't feel threatened by you neither do I care about you.

you cared enough to comment

I only see the 10 minutes highlights shown on MOTD every week, so am not in a position to judge your style of play. That style of play, however has proved to be enough to guarantee your survival this season so, to that end, has been successful. I think what a lot of posters are saying is, had you had a bit more flexibility, could you have picked up a few more points this season, and with the surprise factor now gone, will you need to show that flexibility to survive next season. This doesn't mean you have to give up your principles of neat passing play, just you just have to adapt, sometimes be a tad more direct. Fair play to you though, and see you next season.

As for the spanking we took yesterday, I think there is a general concensus that anyone who'd played Man. City yesterday would have got a good pasting.

That was exactly the point I was trying to make, Swansea would have picked up more points had they adapted to a more direct style of play when the neat, tidy, short passing style wasn't working.

I watched a swans game the other day, forget who it was against, and they pressed you right up the pitch. Yet, still persisted trying playing it out from the back and were inviting pressure on yourself. Neil Taylor, to mention but one, lost the ball a few times in a row because as soon as he collected he was pressed.

As I said earlier, I like Swansea and do believ they play a good game, just saying adaptability to a more direct game (when needed) would probably see you push on further.

However, for those going on about beating man city - I would remind you that we did beat you home and away this season.

Oh come on Maestro, would you prefer if I used the word fascist instead then? This place is beginning to turn into the old 606.

Not a lot gets to me Northampton , but that did. I found it offensive and asked you to remove that word.
I'm sure there are posts on here that you have objected to.
As for turning into the old 606, don't talk squit.

Yes but I don't make a big deal about them I just get on with it. There was nothing implying what I said was Anti Semitic or anything along those lines. What if I called him a communist that wouldn't be deemed offensive? Fair play to knackeredjack he took it as banter and continued on in good humour.

Bit too PC for me, Maestro. The word 'nazi' has come to mean those who are overly pedantic. I didn't take the word to mean he thought I was Goebbels.

But you're right about one thing. This poster who thinks we are only praised because we're from Wales, not because our style of play is praiseworthy in itself, talks complete and utter ****e. <laugh>

Seriously stop playing the Welsh card it won't wash with me.

I thought we only disliked 1p5wich and Wolves - and more recently QPrcelona?

Since when did we add Swansea to that list? <doh>

This, in case anyone had forgotten, was the opening paragraph of the op :-
Firstly, I want to make it clear, I have nothing personal against them (Swansea) and it is great that they also look like staying up this season, but....

We haven't! Swansea are a good team that do things the right way! I can't understand ANY of our fans being disrespectful to them! They are a great bunch who have always had kind words for us! <ok>

Our valley dwelling friends are great, they just to need give in playing this Welsh card all the time.

Sorry but it was you that stated we were getting praise from the pundits because of where we're from:

"...the media are likely to love them same if they were Scottish or Northern Irish, from London the North West, North East there are certain regions the media love just switch on the TV and listen to accents, or the coverage on national 6 o'clock news."

When I asked you if you meant that we only got praise because of the fact we were from Wales you replied:

"Yes if you were from Shropshire I don't think they would make such a big deal about it"

So as you see, I have not played any card. You raised the issue not me. Oh, and you are talking complete ****e. Your 'valleys' comment just displays yet more ignorance I'm afraid so I'd quit while you're behind. <ok>

I can accept others not liking the way we play but to say we only get praise because of where we're from is baloney - and you know it. We're used to Cardiff plonkers making comments like that but Norwich fans are pretty decent. Like I said there's always one.

Your 'home truths' have, at times, ventured on the repulsive!

I know you'll reply, you're like a woman, must have the last word!

<laugh> Dave it's called having a laugh. Is it everyones time of month today or something today? A lot of people are getting well too sensitive on here. Am I? Judging by the way some people have been acting today I beg to differ.

To the Swansea fans it's been fun good luck for the rest of the season lads.
