Great start worth the two goal head start, lucky deflection for their first, second goal you could see coming great play by them, excellent goal by them.

Pearson and steads goals were fantastic.

Great team performance, lovely football played by the boys, great to go into next weeks home games in great form.

Bikey we got to sign this guy, what a performance again top drawer.

Woolford had a great game, best I have seen from him, worked his socks off for the cause.

A point was fantastic, however if woolford had connected properly we should have one.

A guy on radio said we were the hardest team brum have played, hard to breakdown both at the gate and at st Andrews.

Common boys three more points next week ,I'm sure will keep us up.

Well done fans 2000 in great voice.

    Onwards and upwards.

I thought today he set us up well, to get teams on the counter attack. I know they got back into it.

Also we had an attacking bench today, which can break teams down towards the end of game.

Was at a wedding today, so not too easy trying to follow it till the result.. Well done again to Del and the lads. Fingers crossed we've started to find the form that we had in November.
Please don't come out with all this humble pie stuff.....just remember had it not been for Portsmouth and their troubles we would still be in the ****.
But fair play to Del, who's stuck at it and again fingers crossed that we continue with this form and avoid the dreaded drop.

The light at the end of the tunnel is usually an express train

It will be the making of Del if we pull it off, but I will only sleep soundly when we are mathematically safe

What I dont understand though is that City can stand toe to toe with a team like Birmingham - so why are we in this position ?
The only answer I can think of is that we are a club which has seen turmoil over the last 4 seasons, the demise of GJ, Millen, the Coppel fiasco which obviously took a lot out of everyone, and yet another new management team with their own style and methods. All this would have taken its toll on the players, and they have looked confused and disoriented. Only now is the team starting to seem like we are all pulling together.
There was never any doubt for most of us that the players at the club were capable of performing (you dont do the double over Southampton this season unless something is right), but that just made it seem worse.
Now I think I can understand where the problems with City this season lay.

Footnotewise, I have moaned often about Mr Scuze, but his performances in midfield in the last 6 games have been a revelation, and the best of his career to date. Someone else who could use this season's nightmare as a launchpad, and he's one of ours

Good result yesterday but there is still work to be done, and what a difference those couple of points might make. I hope they don't come back to haunt us.

I can see both Coventry and Portsmouth (not that they matter) winning on Tuesday and I can see West Ham being too good for us on the same night. That will leave Coventry 1 point behind us with 2 games left to play.

It will therefore mean that we'll have to beat Barnsley next Saturday and depending on how Coventry do against Doncaster (at home but all I can see is a home win there as well), we will go into the last game of the season with Coventry travelling to Southampton and us going to Burnley with us still just 1 point ahead.

    Its still squeaky bum time

And what have i lied about, give Millen so many games, which i did say, but i also said his time was up, get rid, which they did, giving the incoming manager time to keep us up, maybe i was right then, yes.
