    Yes we lost.

    Yes we dominated.

But I just want to start a thread to big up our support. We were absolutely fantastic tonight. Outrageously good, even when we conceded we just got louder. A good mate of mine text me from the Reading side of the barrier to say what great support we had. St mary's was rocking.

    Onwards & upwards, COYR.

Yep we were louder than reading for large periods even when they were winning thats what proper support is about singing when needed, ive been critical of our fans in the past but today they were top draw.

This is the best thread I have seen all night.

To some extent I couldn't care less about the result.

West Ham have to enter everyone one of our results and looking at their opponents it is unlikely to happen.

So anyone that is moaning SHUT UP AND CHEER UP!

To put a slight dampener on this - I was sat in the Itchen North and though our support was good, it was nothing compared to Readings. Incredible support and it's a shame that the only vocal areas of our ground are Northam, Kingsland north and Itchen north. Taking nothing away from those fans that were good but we could have been better

Easter holiday says it all. I had a posh old lady sit infront of me. When we started singing she kept saying "who's this Lallana fella and who does he make look rubbish". She also asked the same about Lambert and she kept calling Fox, Michael Fox <laugh>

Indeed. I can get a bit annoyed with our support sometimes but last night, I was so proud. Proud of the fans, proud of the players. pissed with the result, but hey, ho. **** happens.

I get annoyed with the people who think they're better than everyone else because they have tickets in hospitality for a couple of big games each season. The sort of middle class ponces who can afford hospitality because they don't go regularly and only come for the nce games.

I'm sure those "middle class ponces" can afford it because they did well in school and got good jobs.
