I felt ill with nervs before the Sheffield United game a few years ago where Big Stern saved us! The Norwich match when we got relegated was horrible too. I'm an incredibly nervous fan!

I usually turn off TV after 20 min because of nerves...if we are two up I might not.

Interesting to note that the Reading forum (Royals Rendezvous), lists the results of both clubs regarding matches played on Friday 13th. Saints' record is far superior. Couple that with the fact that Saints play much better against the good sides, so we have every right to be confident!

I am indeed nervy but at the same time excited about the game but i would be far more edgy if Lambo was up front for Reading so thankfully he is ours so let them worry.I am just thinking how great it is to be involved in such a significant game and if things dont indeed go as we hope we still have the power of our own destiny

I'm sure both group of fans are desperate to win, but have to say that we will be the most disappointed if we lose the title. They have put in a late run and are in a position higher than they could have hoped for earlier in the season. On the other hand, we began to dream about the title a few weeks into the season. However, as Cortese says in Telegraph today, 'We are where we are.'

Strangely feeling more confident as hours tick by. Should be a great game!

I think we will win, but football is a funny old game, can I please say now that losing this game does not make us rubbish, does not mean the team didn't want it enough, and does not make Adkins a moron. Thanking you in advance.

I defend my right to come on here and be offensive, rude, insulting, unthinking, angry, over-reacting, damming, moronic, etc. etc., if we lose and I end up in a grotty mood.

It might just stop me from kicking the cat again which wouldn't be nice because she has only just summoned up the courage to come back indoors following my last rant.

If this was a game which had a great bearing on relegation, I'd be not knowing where to put myself. But as it's all about one successful team against another, I'm quite calm. I'm sure I'll get the tingles at some point though.

If we win great, but if we draw or lose we are going to have to wait round until the West Ham game. I like games to be opposite each other preferably.

Yes, exactly. I am very much of the, 3pm on a Saturday, school. Plus, I wish they'd return to 7.30pm on a Wednesday for midweek games. Thinking about it, I suppose we will change nights, at least, IF** we're promoted.

**oops, nearly did it again. ;)

I was nervous about the Portsmouth match, as I couldn't stand the thought of being beaten by them. I ended up turning off the computer and going out, but I am not normally that bad.
I wasn't nervous about the Palace match but I am a tad nervous about this one, considering the immensity of it. Being greedy, I want the title as well as promotion and, should we lose this match, we can probably forget about the title.

I've got to go out later, so I'll miss following the match but I'll log in at 4pm local time and see how it went. With trepidation, I have to say.

OK, the tingling has started for real now. I just looked at the fixtures again, in between doing a bit of work, and just reminded myself that if Saints win tonight and West Ham lose tomorrow, Saints are pretty much promoted, with West Ham having to win all their matches and Saints having to lose all theirs.

    However...

    One game at a time™.

Live in the here and now™.

For me it has obviously started to become slightly difficult to think that way. ;)
