As I'm sure you're all well aware, that dreaded Friday the 13th is upon us, and it couldn't have come at a worse time, for it just so happens that our match of the season against Reading kicks off tonight. But there is something about it that I just can't figure out: is this day fated to be unlucky for Saints fans? Or Reading fans? Or both? My simple mind just cannot figure out these complicated laws of the Universe, so I was wondering if someone with a superior intellect, and a working knowledge of supernatural causality, could clear this one up for me.
Or is fated to be unlucky at all..? Where's the shred of evidence for it..? Where's the shred of evidence for the thing called luck, for that matter.
On another thread, someone has worked out that Friday 13th is more unlucky for Reading than us based on results on that day. As it favours Saints it is obviously true, whereas if it favoured Reading it would be a load of cobblers.

At the risk of repeating myself, any score simply represents ter outcome of the game with all the variables which affect the outcome. Bad luck is when the Stadium disappears under huge meteorite shortly after kick-off. I am prepared to take my chances. Let's hope our strikers can do the same.

Yep, I think that proves it. Friday the 13th brings you back luck every time, without fail. Scientific fact. AND we lost on Sky! That's two curses right there. Scientifically proven curses.
