Who we are is quite interesting and where we should go home to could be quite a moot point for many folk.

What I have found out from my own family, my fathers side came from haggis land and he was a Jarra lad born and bred although I gather there was some back and forth to Nova Scotia, so I could be the last of the mohicans! My mothers side were farmers/landworkers in Northumberland and seafarers (Scandinavian in part) although she was Jarra born and bred. I have married a London Lass whose folk were Irish and French so heaven knows what that makes my kids.

Generally I also reckon I have more in common with any hard working ordinary folk in any country than with the rich elite that by and large run and own this country for their own benefit. Just my opinion like!

This is possibly the dumbest thread I've ever seen on not606 (and that's saying something).

We've got one racist poster who actually seems to believe the public persona of the BNP and apparently lacks the mental wherewithal to understand that what they say and do in public is very different to what they say and do in private.

Christ almighty, half of them have got criminal records as long as their arms and many of their crimes are racially motivated.

I'm surprised Mr Wonderful hasn't gone the full hog and claimed Hitler was misunderstood.

Then we have others blaming religion for wars. Do you honestly believe that if religion didn't exist there would be no wars? Religion is just an excuse warmongers hide behind.

And to cap it off we have a poster claiming England is an island <doh>

Water festival in full flow...(i'm armed with a camera in case any cayote dancers get on stage)

Can't hear a flippin thing, and got tv on max, but the house is rattling with all the bass...

It's called Songkran, it's the annual water festival, where they all hoy water around for days, get pissed and usually die on a motorbike...
