This has probably been covered before but other than Saints just wondered what everyones favourite was? Mine is Your sister is your mother Your uncle is your brother You all f@*k one another The norwich family der der der der clap clap etc Laughed out loud when I heard it on TV.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NC54A2PFwqw - always makes me giggle On a saints view Only one team in Hampshire (not sung enough, sure it will be again soon) Only one marcus leibherr - always gets my spine tingling
That's made me laugh out loud. That's brilliant. Let's pretend, let's pretend, let's pretend we've scored a goal... YEAHHH..!
I love that chant, we might need to use it next year if we get mullered in a game, hopefully not (if we go up). It's just good humour.
To the tune of One Man Went to Mow: We're not Real Madrid We're not Barcelona We are Reading Football Club Madjeski is our owner
We will never die We will never die We will We will never die Sung by the pompey fans, untill july at least
Not a proper chant used in grounds, but one I saw posted on Twitter the other day by @ASaintForLife: "I'm Southampton 'til I die! You're Pompey 'til July! We're going up! You're going down! Out of business, and goodbye!"
This for just pure comedy value!
Quality chant, prefer Exeter's one at Gillingham though: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i7QKd2pcn5A As for myself, I really wish we had an anthem, and 2 songs I really like are Fields of Anfield Road and Marching on Together.
You mean, Oh When The Saints Go Marching In... isn't anthem enough..? The one team in England that doesn't have to change the words. When I was a wee nipper, I thought it was written for us. I still like to think so, too.
Fav football chant, but it's best done by barmy army... Also FC United http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aL4n5E1VEM8
"Alive, alive o-oh Alive, alive o-oh, "Stephen Ireland's two grannies. "Alive, alive-o" Sung by Irish fans, to the tune of Molly Malone.
Agreed the slow version, when sung loud is awesome i.e spurs at white hart lane. Saints seem sometimes to start slow but then sometimes takes it upon themselves to start banging the backboard or clap. arrghh
