He has a lot to do to convince me he is the man for the job, great weekend though,i cant take that away from him.

As said four more points please.

So what has he got to do to convince you, the aim for him, or whoever got the job was to keep us in the championship, he's having a darn good go, so if he succeeds, i'm assuming you will be convinced.
I'm hoping from the dire position we were in, you didn't expect a play off place, or even promotion.

When someone says that Alan the unfortunate truth is they will NEVER be good enough for them.

Football is a game where you win a few and lose a few.. some people don't have the patience.

ADicks - It's ok you berating RedRobin about past comments.

Just as well he can't remember 'from the dire position we were in' - your very thoughtful 'Millen deserves more time'.

Keep us up first thing, then build a squad capable of top ten finish next season, bearing in mind GJ did not fall below that level I think.

I still believe better candidates were avaliable, the sex man decided to go for a gamble.heard a rumour yesterday all ain't to clever behind the scenes in the boardroom?

Who do you think was better Mark Robins or Shaun O'driscoll?

he will say dave jones

To be honest everyone has there opinion and we must respect that, RedRobin supports Bristol city and as he said he wants McInnes to do well, we all do, and my opinion is we got the best man for the job, he will keep us up then we can see his side next season, and hopefully we will competing

But neither wanted to come.. they both turned us down?

I suppose we could have got one of them in a headlock though..

What was the rumour?

So Millwall have beaten Pompey - I predicted a home win, so still useless at forecasting results.
This should rule out Portsmouth catching us. I think they will lose at Doncaster, beat Palace, draw with Derby and lose at Forest finishing on 38 points.
So our big worry is Coventry. Can they get anything at Burnley? I think not with a big question mark because Burnley are a real in and out side this season. Then they have a resurgent Millwall at home with a draw likely, home to Doncaster who will be nicely relaxed then as they will probably already be down, winning, followed by Saints promotion party. surely they can't get any points there?
From the bottom working up;
Pompey 38
Doncaster 39
Coventry 40 - but am I being too optimistic that they will only get one more point? Probably so.
City 46 - just a win against Barnsley - too pessimistic or realistic?

Sir Lansdown was present at the game yesterday, I saw him sneaking into the tunnel after most people left the ground but he did get a round of applause from those of us left...

I do hope he is "hands on" this summer as it is a MASSIVE opportunity for the club to rebuild...

You're right cidered abroad that it's a straight sprint to the finish between us and Coventry now though I reckon both of us will manage more points. Coventry are no doubt due one last renaissance but that should be of no consequence if our players put in the shifts we know they're capable of.

As everyone has said, four points is guaranteed survival. Six would probably have us leapfrog a team currently on 47 points.
