Because it is much funnier to post a thread calling him out. He'll post on it, he won't be able to resist. And knowing Cest, some almighty wriggling will take place. That he is away for a week is neither here nor there, we'll bump it for him on his return.

**** me your a smug twat ain't you!
I suppose when you support a team that's won naff all for over fifty years finishing above Sunderland is an achievement indeed.
    Well done.

See you next year. Or sooner seeing how you can't seem to stay off our board. Is yours really that bad?

Never seen winning the mini table of NE mediocrity as worth much to be honest. And that's all I expect it to be again this year. I think we'll finish 6th but I can't see past Everton now with Liverpools current implosion. So there'll be no Europe and both will start from scratch again next year. Great season for us regardless but it'll count for nowt come the start of August. I like the derbies and thats it as far as Sunderland goes. Where they finish in the league is neither here nor there to me. As long as they don't go down I don't mind. (I wouldn't want them winning anything of course)

However I do enjoy certain folk (Cestria in this case) shooting themself in the foot. Its only right that teeth on arse are felt when you go making such statements of grandeur.

So you don't go into every season thinking/hoping/wanting your team to finish above mine?
I always want Sunderland to finish above you. I always believe we will, obviously it doesn't always happen but what's so wrong with wanting it?

Nothing wrong whatsoever thinking it. I hope we finish above every team in the league, but it never happens! Of course I want to finish above Sudnerland, its just not a target I would set ourselves, and then crow about if we did, moan about if we didn't. I just don't believe in the north east top dogs ****e I hear all the time. Indeed I don't know where all that started because it certainly wasn't mentioned when I was younger and we were both outside the top flight.

If it was like the Manchester clubs and trophies were involved, maybe that desire would grow a bit. Putting all rivalry aside which is rare for me, I'd love the North East to be a footballing hotbed. At the moment though if you were being honest, you couldn't say it is because both clubs rarely threaten to put something in the trophy cabinet. We tick all the other boxes.

Look at Bruce. I have no doubt his obsession with finishing above Newcastle contributed to his downfall. Not a great deal because he has always been a **** manager, but it certainly didn't help.

Nothing wrong with wanting it, but being so smug and cocky about it is always a foolish move.

On which bit Raw? I honestly don't mind where Sunderland finish as long as they are not relegated (I like the derbies), and don't win anything.

In terms of where we'll finish, we're in with a shout of anything between 3rd and 6th. But with a closing 4 fixtures of Wigan Away, Chelsea Away, Man C Home, Everton A, I think you have to be realistic. Man City could be down in the dumps by then, Everton could have one eye on a cup final are the flipsides to the games, but Wigan have been in great nick and we have a terrible record at the DW, Chelsea have no hope in the CL and will be desperate to make that game count, Everton don't seem to have a 2nd string should they weaken their side because of final appearance.

Its great to have this excitement at the end of a season but if I had to gamble money on who the top 5 would be, I wouldn't include ourselves.

I'm on holiday in sunny (not) Blackpool with the littl'n.

Picking this up on my phone.

Well done the cockney boys from NE1. Can't argue with points and league positions, unlike all of your lot for the past THREE seasons when we have been top bananas.

That's the difference though between Sunderland fans and craa fans. We are not deluded or thick enough to argue with league positions and points gained over a season.

You take the NE top dogs mantle this season but even in your dark deluded minds, you know Bruce ****ed us over.

Next season, the slate is wiped clean and we start afresh with Martys first full season against Del Boys 11.

I can't wait for the challenges to come with SuperMarty v The Smarm King.

Next season this next season that ,I've heard them before <laugh>

Also funny that the margin in points between us has become greater ever since Marty took over.

    Bring back Bruce!

I'm sure you would want him back as well.

Sorry you're just too pig thick, uneducated and ignorant daft lad to see I'm congratulating your team.

Thing is, you've still won **** all this season same as us but we've replaced a duck egg manager with a real one, who has had to work with that duck eggs squad so far.

We will see if the cockney mafia do as well against Martys team next year, or is Pardew and Ashley now the best thing since slice bread now?

You and the other goons were 2 faced enough over Sir Bobby after all.
