Whether they will get it or not is another matter but I for one will have no complaints if they get 4th, I'd much rather them get it than the Spuds.
I am fairly pleased with the result yesterday but angry with the performance. In truth we were hanging on and lucky to get a point. If we hadn't of got that penalty we would have lost as we were never going to score from open play.
Everything rests on the Arsenal game now. Lose that and I think that's us done for top 4, even a draw would not suffice IMO unless Arsenal fail to beat Wolves.
I personally think we have to win all 5 games to guarantee 4th but it will be tough, the next 3 certainly are all must win games.
On the plus side it's only 2 away games left now and we've won every home game RDM so long may that continue, but the amount of points we have thrown away this season is infuriating.
Norwich winning was massive because if Spuds had got that point or all 3 I don't think we would catch them as poor as they are.
Let's hope Blackburn win tonight and are safe before the final day so they won't bother turning up on the last day. Hope QPR beat Spuds at home as well.
We need to win on Sunday to secure a final spot and let the Spuds implosion continue, it WILL affect their league form, we can't afford to give them any lift at all, they are beleaguered and have been found out for the overrated team they are. In truth, they are no better than this average Chelsea team (by recent standards) despite what the media would have people believe.
