Bristol the great city
I reckon we need four points and we will be safe.

Barnsley home we need to win and a point from Wham,Brum,Burnley and job done.

Can't see Coventry being able to overtake us with four more points on the board.

Fantastic atmosphere in the ground today.

would be nice to 4 points clear when we play Barnsley, but we have a long way to go yet

Birmingham 0 points

West ham 0 points

Barnsley 3 points

Burnley 1 point

My honest opinion of how the next four games will go

I don't think you can discount Portsmouth quite yet. They play Millwall tonight and are at Doncaster on Saturday. If they get 6 points from these games they could be above Coventry who go to Burnley on Saturday.

I reckon Doncaster are as good as down so it's perm any 2 from Pompey, Coventry, Us and Millwall.

A draw or a Millwall win in tonight's game would be best for us to ensure Portsmouth go down, then it's perm any 1 from 2 or 3 teams.

Forest are safe now despite losing to us

I think 1 more win would do it for you.

Great easter weekend for both us and you.

Send Cov to where they belong in league 1

<ok>

At the end of March a lot of us used the BBC Predictor to see where we might finish the season. Out of 35 Championship games since then, I've only got 8 right out of 35 games (win, lose, draw not actual scores). Yet I got 2 out of 3 right for City with a draw at Forest wrong.
I mention this because it's why I never go near a bookies and that my predictions are definitely to be ignored!
We have given ourselves a lifeline for survival but it is still going to be very tight. Agree that Donny are down as we need 1 point to ensure that.
I believe that we are capable of getting 4 points, 3 v Barnsley and 1 at Burnley. But will it be enough if Coventry or Pompey suddenly go beserk?
My revised forecast for the finish is;
City 47
Millwall 46
Coventry 44
Portsmouth 41
Doncaster 37

But ?

Yea....but don't forget you said Delboys not the man for the job.........super manager in the making IMO............even if we get relegated, we must stick with him.

When did I say Delboys not the man for the job, I am the one that kept saying we should keep him?

You will find that I have had plenty of arguments on here with the Dels not the man for the job brigade.

Think you have me mixed up with someone else BigJohn

Also for the run in I have
Birmingham 0 points this is my head ruling on this one but would be typical City to win there, I remember when Robbie Turner scored and we won 1-0 Karen Bradys gang first game there, fantastic day out.
West Ham 1-3 points don't know why they just up their game against these sort of teams and a lot of pressure on West Ham at the moment.
Barnsley 3 points, will hopefully see us go above them if we sneak 3 out of West Ham
Burnley 1-3 points we are hopefully safe and see a completely different relaxed City

One thing I will say is we are only beaten once in 6
Came from behind twice to either win or draw
We are starting to have to belief in ourselves

I think that is the bare minimum needed. If Cov or Pompey or Millwall all start winning, we may need to win 2 or 3 of the last 4 games and that's a really tall order, especially looking at our next 2 games....

Luckily Millwall play both Coventry and Pompey.. If Millwall lose both there's a good chance we'll go above them as they're only a point above us. If they win both then happy days, the teams below us gain no ground. Millwall have to play Leicester and Blackpool which wont be easy as they're busting a gut for play offs. The other team Millwall have is Ipswich where you never know what kind of performance they'll turn in.

Personally I think we'll get 5 points, beat Barnsley and draw at Burnley and West Ham draw too. We're daft enough to draw/beat WH especially with a good atmosphere and a nice welcome home for Nicky..

i dont think it will be a nice return form him, he will be booed at for every touch he has, be nice if we can give him a clap though for all he did

Red Robin you seem a little happier with the situation at the moment but i remember you saying.
Del is not the man for the job.
Never thought he was the man for the job from day one.
I was wondering, is that still your thoughts, or are you now happy with DM.

Sorry about that Red, my apologies mate, got all muck & fuddled with yourself & Red Robin.

I think 3 points will do us given we are 4 points clear of deflatted coventry.

Think we will get a point again west ham and win both bansley and burnley. Birmingham game might not go our way but who knows we have momentium
