Brilliant game today and no one played badly

kelv 7 didn't have to do much but made a couple of very good saves
butterfield 7 very good assist had me slightly worried defensively but did well overall
    Hooiveld 8 Domineering aerial performance
fonte 7.5 Very solid partnership with jos
fox 7.5 Also played very well put in a few good tackles and was good going forward
chaplow 9 very good performance, back to his best? ran like a madman
cork 7 didn't notice him too much, but he put in some good tackles and was solid
hammond 7 similar to cork although he put in some very hard tackles
lallana 9 fantastic performance, very committed with a lot of quality
Lambert 9 Two good goals, the second was a great finish, who said he wasn't fit?
sharp 7 played second fiddle to lambert most of the game but did his job well

subs - didn't really have enough time to judge (edit) honourable mention for harding for that brilliant last ditch tackle in the box
    Adkins - 10
    Fans - 10

Good to see you gave Jos a good score because a few fans have said he hasn't been as good lately...we'll need him to be top of his game. Fonte as well. Who said Lambert was unfit? He did...said he wanted to come off after 70 min!!

Nothing more to add - spot on. I would maybe give the fans 15 out of 10 though as my voice has gone!!! Great away day, great performance. I am beginning to believe. When we sang the Rickie Lambert song just after the second goal and got to the second line I got goosebumps. It may happen. If I was going to have another child I would call him or her Rickie!

As great as it is to see Jos get a good score, after his recent performances, it's even better to see Chaplow get a good score. Obviously only one person's opinion, but still good to read. We miss the "Sep & Oct 2011" Chaplow

Would give Fox higher tbh, he had Saha in his pocket. He was class today.

Just a few minor disagreements. Didn't think Chaplow was worth a 9, gave the ball a way a lot in the first half but made up for it with endeavour. Probably worth a 7.5

Cork was outstanding. Ran the midfield with Deano and was the stand out player for me. Super Kelv maybe worth an 8, good saves and distribution was the best it's been for a fair while!

Fox excellent too, well worth an 8.5!

    Great support too!

yeah maybe i was a bit harsh on him. But i don't know how he'd manage to have a spurs player in his pocket ;)

Chaplows rating a bit high 8 possibly,Cork deserves a lot more than a 7,8.5 or even 9,and thought Butterfield had a good game as he kept Zaha very quiet in the first half,so much so he changed sides for the second half, and done bugger all over there thanks to Fox.

Dean + Jack in the middle we're superb today. Really made us tick both defending and attacking, think that was a bit harsh on them but otheriwse agreed <ok>

Agreed. Thought they were excellent - as they were in the Pompey game IMO.

Good solid performance all round, but Chappers definitely not a 9. He gave the ball away quite a lot and didn't really threaten in attack although did get through a hell of a lot of running. Fox and Deano I thought were easily the best players on the park, although you can't complain about Rickie. I think he had 4 main touches which included 2 goals, 1 disallowed goal and a piledriver volley that went really close.

    Being on Reading!

Fox MOTM personally. From his crunching tackle in the 1st minute you knew he was gonna have a good game ;)

Hammond my MOTM. It was a tough one between him and Cork but the amount of times that Dean won some nice sliding challenges was brilliant. Also a special mention to Harding for such a crucial last ditch tackle in the box when Palace looked certain to score.
