If I was on 50k a week you could call me whatever you wanted. In saying this I don't condone it in any shape or form. When you live your life in the spotlight whatever field you are in, you will come in for stick from one source or another. It isn't that much different from the damaging lies the media constantly print about celebrities!
Oh aye, "dropping the N-bomb" is the wrong thing to do, anyone doing that probably is a racist and wants to see some sense. What I'm on about is using a description of the person in an insult "Oi, you ginger -fill the blank-", sort of thing. And noticing someones race first doesn't necessarily mean they have a racist attitude. You can see someone's skin colour, hair colour, build from quite a distance, it takes being a lot closer to pick up finer details. If you were mugged the first things the police would ask are if you noticed their height and colour.
Yeah, I should have been clearer, I meant if the first thing that comes to mind when you're looking to insult someone is their colour, there's an underlying racist attitude. I got called a racist for a time when I was asked who John was, out of a group of people playing football. I said "John's the black fella", because, well, he was. If he'd been the tall fella, or the fella in the Celtic top, I would have said that, it was just a handy way of identifying him. Everyone (including John) didn't see a problem with it, except for this one girl, who decided to go off on a rant at me.
