He was brilliant yesterday and is continuing to prove his doubters wrong. He was brought on ahead of Moriosn and Jackson and outmuscled Jagielka to set up Holt. It was great how he jumped at the ball reacting quicker to Jagielka and he is beginning to prove that he is useful to the squad. A few of my friends who were doubters at first have recently turned a corner and now like him.

As the Canary Bible says - Proverbs 19:21 - Many are the plans in the mind of a fan,
but it is the purpose of the Lambert that will stand.

definitely worth keeping for next season judging by yesterdays brilliant performance. way above the expectations of most posters on these sites, and i admit to being one of them. the wheelie bin slurs have definitely stopped now.

There is something immensely likeable about Wilbraham - just watching him you get the feeling that he really cares. He certainly isn't a typical Lambert signing age-wise, but I have no doubt that the hunger and commitment are there. If Wilbraham starts tomorrow against Spurs, I know he will give 100% and he will not disappoint.

He is like another, not quite so good version of Grant Holt; he can't quite match the skill, but he certainly can match the intelligent positioning and the sheer brute force!

Agreed, definitely a typical Lambert signing in terms of hunger and commitment. He's been given the opportunity to play Premier League football and, despite only a few appearances off the bench he really is trying hard. I would love for him to get a goal at Carrow Rad, particularly one that gives us a win.

He has to be given a contract next season - along with Jackson, in my opinion. Just like Holt, his (Wilbraham's) work rate makes up for his lack of natural talent, and there is something about him that makes you realise just how hard he has worked this season in order to succeed. That hard work is clearly paying dividends.

I hear he's a big figure in the dressing room as well.

Apart from the fact he should have buried the chance that he then did very well to win back. I'd quite happily swap him for sturridge, Crouch or any other player that will get to the euros ahead of holt

In terms of being a big target man I actually think he does better than Holt. The ball sticks to him like glue and he ends up drawing defenders away from his strike partner, like he did yesterday when he had four Everton players round him leaving Holt unmarked

He plays with real heart and it definitely shows in the way he plays and what people think about him.

He's probably not in the long term plans but does that matter? Nope, he's our player and it's a pleasure watching him play. You just want him to do well when you see him play.

I have to admit i doubted his usefulness at the beginning of the season but his attitude every time he has come on has been refreshing his commitment and heart is what you want to see from a player. Really glad he got a goal and is putting in performances that make me want to keep him definitely for next season. Completely turned my opinion of him!!
