    3.20 Musselburgh - PRESIDENT LINCOLN

This one displayed a very fair level of form last season for Aidan O'Brien without getting his head in front. He is officially rated 79 and although many will feel he is a dodgepot this is the easiest looking race he has contested in his career so far. On his final start for O'Brien he finished a neck second behind at the time a 105 rated horse (now rated 100) that is strong enough form to land this. Hopefully he will retain plenty of his ability now in the care of Declan Carroll. If he was still with O'Brien he would be around an even money shot imo, but is currently 7/2 on Betfair.

Forum favourite Leighton Aspell rides 50-1 shot LORD ALDERVALE in the 2.30 Plumpton and I am told that he has better chance than those odds would suggest!

Not horse racing but I really think the 6/4 about Casey Stoner to win the Qatar MotoGP is a steal. Didn't get pole but he has been consistently quick all weekend and he is on the best bike and has only Lorenzo to beat.

Also now that we have the NR in the seller I have backed Mad Jazz to win the race. I think he will be much better for his debut run and I think he will be better than the Channon horse here.

I think Ceol Rua will take all the beating in the big mares race at Fairyhouse today and will be backing her accordingly. I also really like Lord Windemere in the big novice hurdle and I think Bullock Harbour will go well in the 3.25 - they've clearly been waiting for good ground with this one and he goes well fresh. In the 3.55 Chill ran a good race in the Fred Winter at the festival and can take this off 119.

    Saucy little Lucky 15 <ok>

    Best of luck everyone

Clare trainer Ronald O'Leary landed at right touch in facile fashion in the Carlisle bumper only yesterday with a horse called Fascino Rustico. Word is that they are going for a similar coup again today in the Towcester bumper (5.20) with a horse called CLAIMING BENEFITS who is currently 4-1.

Just passing on what I have heard ;-)

Finally managed to get my odds on points upto 5,005 after a bout a year of not redeeming them. Got free £50 bet so put it on a treble (without stake back)

    4.10 - Give us a hand (10/11)
    4.30 - Flemenstar (11/10)
Mickleson to beat Hanson in Golf 2ball (8/15)

    Heres hoping!!

I always liked Wispas, in the days when I used to eat choccie. Cheers for yours Stick, a modest investment goes the way of Claiming Benefits. As I was forced to do that very thing for 4 months last year it seems somehow apt.

I've a sneaking for Chappellerie at a big, but shrinking, price in the 4.55 at Musselburgh. Seems well in on her best turf form and if she gets home she should be there or thereabouts, surely? I've had some of 20/1 of the each way variety.

Good luck to everyone. Don't get on as much as I'd like these days, but look in when I can. Always happy to see you fellows fleecing the bookie.

It's being backed fellas - now 3/1. Happy Easter all. Just the one for me today - Jasperito at towcester. Not sure why NTD has a good record at that track but every time I look at the results he seems to get something so that's my bet today.

    Good luck everyone.

Talking of interesting bumper horses, the Coolemore owned Sword Of Honour finally gets to see tha racetrack again in the bumper at Fairyhouse tomorrow. Went into my notebook (and 10 to follow) last August after a facile victory in a Killarney bumper, he is by Montjeu out of a Marju mare. Sporting Life tissue has him at 7/1for tomorrow's race (looks a pretty hot contest with 7 previous winners).

A good old unraced sort on the flat with O'Brien got to love them. Surely he will not go off 7/1 ? looks a cracking price

A couple of group races from Longchamp today RV - Beauvoir should take the 1.30 but is 1/2 <yikes>

Poet goes in the 2.40 but will have his work cut out against the Royer-Dupre pair

Odddy I looked at Longchamp earlier on. Liked the Fabre horse with Barzalona on in the 1.00 - only finished 3rd though. Thought Beavoir looked decent but 1-2 is no price at all. I actually like Poet today but the good ground would be a concern

Penalty and a red card - game over - even though he was well offside - what a joke
