Then why in your fairytale world would a post liquidation Rangers be relegated from the SPL? Leeds were sold from one company to another. Your scenario is one whereby the "club" would be sold without its liabilities. Now we have established that this is not possible, I think you should revise your fantastical position.
I could post the SPL rules and the SFA rules and there is no mention in there anywhere of transferring the history of a club from one entity to another. That backs up my position very well.
Right i'll try and explain it one more time. Imagine i start a company, have some sucess then eventually i run into financial trouble. I then move all the assets into a new company and liquidate the old one. I have therefore washed my hands of the old company. As far as i am concernd everything i did with the old company is finshed, finito, gone. ie you liquidate rangers their history stops there as the timeline is finished. Anything you do after that is with a new company and not part of the original company.
No. Not in the same way at all. Given that the liabilities shifted with the sale. I thought you researched this?
Yea, that is correct, it is two completely different companies, but you could pre-pack the business and keep it running if you liked. Look up Pre-Pack admin and google and it will show you how.
Thank **** for that i thought you were never going to get it. So now you know why they don't keep the history.
The mystery of the murky business world of Rangers FC deepens. Just what is this connection between 'Goodwill' and Rangers? http://goodwillfc.com/
Possibly for breaking the rules on insolvancy? Probably wont be relegated to be honest, prob be allowed back into the SPL with a 5 point penalty.
