I want to win the title by being the best team in the league, but watching the Reading/Leeds match I find myself hoping that Reading players will get an injury and, no doubt, I will feel this for the West Ham game as well. I now realise that I want to win by any means. P.s. stupid Leeds player getting himself sent off.
It did cross my mind as well, and I was surprised by my own reaction. It's entirely base human to be selfish. It's the civilised human that rises above it. The fact that you question yourself shows that you can come to a rational decision on that. Hope you make the right one for yourself. Yep, stupid Leeds player.
Yes, I have found my finer feelings. I want Reading players to only get a severe bruising which keeps them out for, say two games, but I no longer want them to have broken legs or skull fractures. I am so proud of myself
Us Leeds fans are so misunderstood. Why, just the other day Michael Brown was reciting poetry, and picking daisies in his back garden to give to Mrs Warnock as a lovely surprise
Sadly I am. Sad that I'm that old, and even sadder that there was a Dick Emery! Back to Fran's question ... of course it is evil to wish injury on our opponents. But it is an evil shared!
I'm fairly sure that all/large majority of us Saints fans would not wish such a bad injury on anyone. Hopefully he recovers quickly
