So, with the announcement that 134 loyalty points will guarantee a member a Wembley semi-final ticket, and all season ticket holders getting one, who from this board will be off to Wembley in 10 days time ??

I knew the club had received a large amount of ticket application cancellations due to the ridiculous kick off time, but I do find the 134 mark as staggeringly low, especially as the cut off being 130 points for the Pompey semi final 3 years ago.

So, who will be at Wembley ??

I'm there, with 136 points. Almost didn't apply because I thought it was bound to be a waste of time. All along I've been making plans to go to the pub with mates for the game. Now all of a sudden I'm going to Wembley!

    Cannot wait.

    Block 537 (£30 ticket).

I doubt it sadly. Would love to go but not being a member or having any points i guess i don't stand much of a chance, right?

I am tempted to take the tout route. Anybody have an idea of how much it may set me back by any chance?

  7. Me and my Chelsea supporting mate will be kicking back at his place. He's fairly loaded, and has a cinema room with a 72" screen. It'll be like being at the match, except that we can keep drinking the booze.

We're going to be having a few side bets between us, too.

  10. No, but funnily enough...

I wouldn't say that my Chelsea-supporting mate is "mates" with the mad Russian oligarch, but he has been in his company a couple of times in the recent past, including being one of his guests in the directors' box, when we beat Chelsea in the Carling Cup Final, a couple of seasons back.

If anyone realises they're horribly double booked, having instead to go to church with the missus, or having promised to have the mother-in-law round for tea, please PM me where I will sympathetically relieve you of your ticket. :)

Thanks for the responses. Sorry to hear that not too many of you will be able to be there.

Judging from the low number of loyalty points required, I think there are many Spurs fans out there who have chosen to miss this game. I think this in part due to the inconvenient kick off time for a Sunday, plus Wembley's pricing structure makes visiting the stadium a damned expensive trip. It would have been nice if the ticket prices were to bear in mind there is a recession, fuel prices are rising and people are feeling the pinch.

Anyway, wherever you watch the game, let's hope we stuff those Chavs.

I will now risk derision by admitting that I will be there - in Club Wembley. Anyone know which end the Spurs fans have got?

I bought a ten year license in 2007 (honestly can't remember how much that cost) and have to pay £1,800 each year for about 10 matches. This is the reason the semi-finals have to be at Wembley: they are part of the package and Club Wembley members and box holders paid a decent chunk of the stadium's cost so the FA can't piss us off.

Fair play to you. You want to watch football and you're prepared to pay for it. I did sample the Club Wembley matchday experince the season before last in a play-off final. It was a good day out and the seat was a good one, but I have to say some of the views I have had watching from other areas of the stadium (away from Club Wembley), have been very poor.
