With Kitch gone, it made me think about all the great players we've had over the years. I mostly went in the 80s so here is my top 3.

1) Hurlock - Always will be a legend and a true 100% REAL WALL player.
2) Sheringham - Still the most successful Millwall player ever and I watched him as a 16 year old come on and get booed off to being carried around the ground by people with tears running down their cheeks.
3) Jimmy Carter - Not the best player ever but always gave 100% and ran like the wind. Ended up at Arsenal on the bench.

There has been many favorites for me, as a kid it was Kitch,Cripps and Dougie Allder, as a young teenager Phil Walker and Trevor Lee, then Kevin Bremner and Anton Otulakowski, followed by Les Briley, Rhino and Fash, then Hurlock,Cascarino and Sherringham, Alex Rae,Tim Cahill and Neil Harris and then in todays team Paul Robinson.
We will always have our favorites, but we'll also have many more legends to come in the future.

**** me how could i forget Steve Anthrobus<doh>

I remember Frank Neary and Mal Findlayson. Frank was a toughie, He'd fall down in the penalty area witha broken leg, then, when the ref signalled play on, he would hop up, stamp his leg to knit the bones back together and play on. Mal Findlayson was one of the best GKs I have eber seen, had a great clearance kick.
