Sadly, I echo these sentiments, I just don't think he is or will be good enough to hold down a regular place in our side.
Ps for those who were interested it was Matt Patterson (the guy who scythed down a United player on his debut) who went to Southend, I see he is now on loan at Forest Green.
I remember him being one the players under Lowe who was forced to play but wasn't quite ready, I did enjoy his tackle on Nani though.
