From a completely neutral view, Kenny should take a place in the club as a director of football or something similar. He has been a man who players have wanted to play for but I think the Suarez problem has really dented his credibility in the nation. He handled that very poorly, especially with the support t-shirts for Suarez; how pathetic do they seem now after Muamba and Petrov. The vast majority of Liverpool's team have not performed to their high standard, and KK isn't all to blame for this, but I think Liverpool are much better suited to a foreign manager with fresh ideas and a certain way to play. It seems to me the players don't know which way to play, whether it's early crosses to Carroll, or short inter-changes with Suarez. Need a proper manager to come in with a certain way of playing, and tell the dead wood to get lost.
I think the least he deserves is to see the season out as he has gotten us to the semi final of the FA cup and you never know he might take us all the way in that as well - but ive got to be honest and not just show blind faith, I don't think Kenny is cut out for this and I can't see the owners wanting him to spend a **** load more money in the summer to put things right because his signings have been poor.
I would give him till the end of the season too. To be fair most fans would. idonot think the club should give him any money to spend on players. So far his judgments have not been good and there is no reason t believe that this will change for the better. Let us give someone else a chance.
Bazray, I think you are trying to stop the tide coming in....most of us now want Kenny out. Before the start of next season.
Well at least do people the courtesy of listing the 'carefully calculated facts' you speak of. It's hard to disagree with 'facts' unless you know what they are.
Bazray if you cannot state these carefully calculated facts we'll just conclude that thy do not exist and tht Kenny has to go.
Do you think you guys will ever be able to forgive the King, if he fails to ensure that your team finishes above Everton? Also, do you think that Hodgson would have been as bad as this? And if so, on what do you base that assessment, given the dismal (and often disgraceful) manner in which your team has gone about its business, this season.?
All 8 of you on this forum? You really have to stop this generalised exaggeration. But then I'm sure you're enjoying yourself today so carry on.... I get the distinct impression you've been looking forward to this defeat all week.
