whats with the waggy bashing? his recent run has excellent stats and is the only player in the team willing to take people on. dont come off all the time, but at least he tries. was impressed by cook. i thought he'd be a bad signing but proved me wrong. ' cant wait to be rid of L1 refs. they are just awful. in the first 15 mins today he missed 3 blatant incidents. just cr@p. dunno how he can draw his pay cheque after that performance. i hope they're reviewing these guys
There's a sort of promotion and relegation system based on the two team managers' match reports after the game. In past times, if a referee was consistently marked low, an assessor was sent to watch a couple of games at which he officiated - if the points which were highlighted on the adverse match reports were found to be present, there was a period of reassessment/retraining in a lower league. Don't know what the situation is now but having seen some of the worst officiating of my life in League One, it makes you wonder if there's any system in place at all.
Waggy scored and was a threat throughout not really sure what else he could do. He reminds me of Mark Stuart for the oldies amongst you oppinion very split but I like him and so glad he scored mins after the stick he recieved and that was before the game had even started so cant be cos he did anything wrong. BWP worked hard in the first half tired in the second should of had a pen and a constant threat. Lisbie still decent at this level O`s best player Mooney was awful
Right i`m off to strut my stuff on purley way,top of the league and in our own hands just like the Addicks.
I thought Lisbie looked quite good actually, certainly had a bit of skill in getting round our players at some points in the game, would be interested to see if his finishing has improved but thankfully we didnt have to see that. Waggy really was right at the start of the season where he said he'll have to score every time he starts just to ensure that he keeps his place in the line up.
Sheff u very lucky to win can decide which of the 2 sheffieild teams are gonna join us in the automatic places though hope its the blades
Just nice to get another three pointsw at this stage of the season (though to be honest, I can't remember any point in any season when three points were'nt welcome). I hope Oldhame don't just park the bus at home, as our better performances come against teams who come out to play a bit of football, but it's all nicely in our hands aqnd the fat lady must be waiting for her moment now. As regards the ref, sounded like he just never got to grips with the game. I hear they had a premier linesman as ref at Dartford yesterday and he lost the plot the moment he blew for the kick off. No worries, I go with the Ferguson arguement that these things even themselves out over a season, and after a couple of dodgy refs, we're about due for one born in woolwich with a Cherlto tatoo on his sleeve.
In what parallel universe was that a penalty? He simply lost his balance and fell over backwards. Appalling decision.
I see Madine is mouthing off in the press that wednesday are better than us and the blades and a Massive club...blah blah blah, really really really really hope they dont go up.
Am afraid it looked a Sheff Utd penalty to me, am shocked that a footballer has learnt the physics in Football now. If you get pulled backwards you fall backwards, how the hell do you fall forwards if you get pulled back??
