QPR vs Arsenal Win Arsenal vs Man City Draw Wolves vs Arsenal Win Arsenal vs Wigan Win Arsenal vs Chelsea Draw Stoke vs Arsenal Win/Draw Arsenal vs Norwich Win West Brom vs Arsenal Win My thoughts
I've come to the party late - I just read the last 5 pages and lo and behold PISKIE is being a hypocrite and refusing to admit he is wrong, then gets on some "I've proved you wrong" hype because theBear and his other bum chum Half Wit side with him What is plain to see for ALL who have read these last pages is PISKIE picks and chooses what he wants and he is hypocritical to the extreme and he refuses to admit he is wrong. How the FCUK can it be ok on one hand for ex players to be all knowing and superior to us mortals when it comes to matters of Arsenal when it suits PISKIE, but when an ex manager says something that contradicts PISKIE's opinion the manager doesn't know what he is talking about. Comment 131: PISKIE - you are a big joke, honestly, you can't argue, you contradict yourself and are a hypocrite and the lemmings who agree with you or come to your aid with equally dumbass comments are a joke too. The reason Arsenal have improved is a combination of things. Its not just having fit full backs because we had them before and we were ****e. Its not just Rosicky being in form. In fact the team were in form and we had a mini crisis mid season - this too was predicted by many because we hadn't really fixed our problems. I can say now that we have fact a lot of our problems but a few still remain. But on the whole, having fit good full backs back, Vermaelen hitting form, Rosicky hitting form, Walcott playing more as a forward than a winger, Our more direct style of play, Ramsey not starting and RVP's current form are the reasons why we have been winning games. As for doom mongers, if the fans hadn't complained you and the rest of your chums along with the manager and the board would've though it acceptable to be nobodies midway in the league, its because fans like us said we aint having it, the manager has changed things. Walcott playing more as a forward, Arshavin being dropped for OXO, more direct play, not ignoring 30 year olds, buying a big CB, making earlier substitutions, changing personnel for the opposition - these are things Wenger NEVER does, but this season .. he has been. These are things fans have been calling for and he is finally doing it. If it were up to you deniers we'd be in the bottom half still.
I was hoping that with iur fantastic winning streak we could at least just get along but back to PNEWARF and Kyle? battle on the other thread
Regarding our remaining fixtures I can see us winning all our remaining games. We won at Everton and Anfield so we can certainly win at the Britannia !!! WE will have too much pace and movement for Chelsea at home, they haven't turned a corner. Its ours to lose
You're saying our short CB pairing will stand up to the aerial bombardment at stoke. OK, good luck with that.
Kos and TV will win most duels. We have to put a muzzle on Crouch but .... I have a feeling the boys will become men against Stoke, its about time they got put in their place at home and with the luck we had against Liverpool .. I think our luck is in, why not !! (Ok its hopeful but I do think we can end our hoodoo)
I know TV is good in the air despite his smallish stature, but kos vs Crouch doesn't fill me with much hope. God we need Mertesacker back.
I'm looking at it like this, Crouch doesn't jump and Kos does. Kos is taller than Verm so as long as Kos sticks to Crouch when he is in the box thats one less pain. I did forget about Huth though and that neanderthal who broke Ramsey's ankle. Ok .. it might be harder than I thought. I'd take not losing at Stoke
Stoke away will be a tough game indeed. Those cloggers, have made their pitch as small as possible although it's within the rules (just) and therefore it's hard for any top team to get their passing going and get Stoke stretched. We will have to be on top form if we are to get three points.
Off Topic...But this is for Steam Users I can't use te Internet when playing games with Steam, but when I turn off Staem Internet works fine Should I continue to work like this or should I get a gaming laptop and import Staem and all my other Internet games onto that
Crouch is pretty good on the ground too. I think people assume that he's just a beanpole to lob high balls to, but he is a skillful player on the deck and has got a great touch.
I do think that fan opinion does eventually send a message to the club. Whilst I would doubt Wenger reads not606 (though I suspect that some at the club would - even some players maybe), the general feeling does make itself known. There is no doubt Wenger has been under more pressure over the last year from fans and he certainly knows it.
Forget the aerial battle. Just watch out for the 'in yer face ' stuff early on to unsettle our lightweights. I predict 6 'tackles' on our boys that are worthy of yellows (but won't be given) inside 10 minutes.
