    Finally.

A goal from a corner kick. Plus we generally looked dangerous from set pieces for a change.

    Could it be?

Harry heard our prayers, read our posts and practised these things in training?

Best of all though, Lennon is back! He'll be in the squad this weekend.

In my opinion, this is one of the biggest factors to us being on form and playing with shape and balance. Bale is way more dangerous when Lennon is on the pitch as we appear to give teams one too many problems to handle when they both play. With all of the relatively recent hype about Bale, I think some have forgotten that Lennon has consistently been our key danger man, with his pace, even throughout the days when Bale couldn't get a game. He's been a big loss from the squad.

He's been improving too, in his quality of delivery, assists and goals, and it's only his injuries that have kept him out of the side.

Let's pray that he remains niggle free for the rest of the season at least.

Dare I say things are looking up?

Might be a bit premature after just one goal from a corner, I'm cautious about Lennon returning too, he keeps getting the same injury this season. Still, the Sun is shining and it's Friday so I should probably be more positive.

    What's TDITD?

To Dare Is To Do I guess. I never seen it abbreviated like that though.

Ah, of course <doh> I couldn't get it out of my head that it was meant to be "Tottenham 'Til I Die".

Yep, it is premature, but I did notice that there seemed to be more of a threat from set pieces.

Not saying we're going to win all of our remaining matches with goals from corners, but it does look as though some work has been done on these areas though.

That is all. I don't ask for much.

Oh, and yes I did mean 'To dare is to do'.

  12. Lennon was the reason we won the Carling Cup. He destroyed Chelsea that day.

Judging by the narrowing of the defeat margins and then the two draws and now the win I would say that the blip is over BUT we will know for sure only if we win the next league match as a cup result doesn't really qualify being a different competition. 2-0 will secure our winning momentum again.

No and never have been. Somebody else a while ago thought that I was somebody else but wouldn't say who. No,I'm not as bold as he is and besides I'm a Marine Insurance Administrator who has followed Spurs since the Steve Archibald,Garth Crooks pairing. I used to compare them with Cottee and Macilveney at West Ham. No Spurcat I'm not. I was Dark Side of the Moon on the BBC 606.

My apologies then, but you do have a very similar style of posting to someone calling herself/himself DawnJay, on the old 606 and also JA606.

Pleased you're not the same, as one of the reasons I moved over here was to escape from clueless idiots like Dawn....

Apology accepted. I found some of them clueless but didn't post too much because it was aggressive. I never could take to Russian Hotspur because he always spoke in a strange sort of English trying to pretend to be Russian. Herself/himself? He's a butler as I recall.

No I'm not Spurcat. I commute between Hull and Genova in Italy where I'm going again this weekend. I'm just sorry that you don't believe me. Also come and chat on Football Forums .Net where I'm The Riddler.
