Match Threads becoming a joke...

I can only see your moaning because you wanted to do a match thread. But someone got in there first, so stop bitching and man up.
 
Who really cares who does a thread. I dont see what satisfaction you could get from having your name a t the top of a thread. But hay thats just me

How about go give your opinion to someone who wants it?

Yes I would like to do match threads and they are being done too early which we were told isn't allowed.

No one has had a match day thread posted with a sticky, before the agreed dates as far as I know for the past year. I think you will find Lambden and DTLW brought this up over a year ago. How am I not accurate? This happened in August and you sent me a PM telling me the rules it's now march and is still happening?

You keep saying people don't read posts ect but your now doing the same!

I give up with you it's obvious everything has to be your way or high way and no one can have an opinion.

Whether or not people can 'see why people want to do match threads' the fact of the matter is we do an this is obviously why people are jumping the fun often on it!
 
And I understand match threads arnt stickied before the date but no ones really gonna create another one if someone's jumped the gun are they?
 
Bazz I can't help people posting match threads early can I? All I can do is the same that I did for you which is to pm people to let them know the rules if you like. Most people don't seem to have a problem with this. I don't see why someone can't do another thread as it has been pointed out that posting a pre match early does not guarantee it will be used as a official match thread. Especially if yours was the last to be used. If you go back over the match threads the vast majority were started on the days that were mentioned. If they were started on the rare occasion before the correct day then they were not stickied. What would you have me do then delete them just because they didn't know the rules??? Any one on this Forum will tell you I am a stickler for allowing peoples opinion. Even if the majority do not agree or if what the person says is nonesense. As I said your facts were inaccurate. I cannot stop people nor will I, that is an individual's right. Now If enough of you are saying you want these threads deleted if they are early that is a different matter, and a different issue!!

Beddy, I got an idea. Before the season starts next year a thread should be made to see people who are interested in posting match threads. Give a day or two for people to let you know. Do a draw and tell people what games they are doing over the course of the year. If new people come along during the season then they can post cup matches or there's a vote for who does the best match thread to do the cup matches. Everyone that wants to post a thread will get to do so. Then we won't have any childish outbursts like we are seeing from Bazzra here.

I agree, people have got carried away with this whole match thread thing. People just need to move on and get on with it. If they don't like the rules then they should find a different forum.
 
I think there is a thread that has become unravelled just a little bit too much, so much that the wearer of the garment is now looking a little shabby.
