Tickler, been waiting all morning for you to arrive! Go round all the other threads and by all means go mental! Can't wait to see your response to some things said <laugh>

what would surprise you out of interest?

To hear some so-called Hull City fans being alot less negative and air some positivity for a change. After Festa and Pompey games you would think that we are in a relegation dog fight. Yes last night was pretty poor to be honest but many were far to quck to moan and groan. The booing at the end was out of order, imo. That will serve nobody at all. The Pompey fans were great from start to finish and gave there team the backing i wish some of our fans would do. Now that would be more than a surprise to me. Hope this info helps. <whistle>

What also surprised me and disgusted me in equal measures only yesterday was hearing that all fans on the Tiger Travel coach got a £10 note placed into there hands. One fan was on it for the first time. It was advised as a reward for all true and loyal hardy travelling fans. So what are the people who make there own way to games classed as then ? <grr>

I agree on wanting Southampton and Reading to take the automatic places, they've shown the most consistency out of the top sides and in Southampton's case all season. I think it'll be tough for West Ham to try and get back in there.

2 big games on saturday. Blackpool v. Southampton (live on bbc @ 5.25pm) and West Ham v. Reading. I hope for 2 away wins and that hopefully will be that.

2-0 down at Pompey and our performance sounds dire. I think your hopes of seven wins have already evaporated Tickler.
BTW Considering you still have the most optimism could you update the table if it doesn't improve because it aint fun doing it when we lose?

2-0 down ? we could have been on the end of a 5-0 scoreline but for Vito. Pompey was very poor even by our recent standards. Well its now put up or shut up time by the whole squad. Whilst still possible i retain my optimism but would add that the next 3 games should once and for all confirm our fate. Time will tell, Just saying like.

Only got home at 5am this morning. Its been a nice sunny day and have come in from the sun to see what the neg heads are posting on here. I can well immagine that many have more than had a Knee Jerk within the last 16 hours or so PB. Not  at all.

Tickler, if you think people on here are negative you should look at the Hull City facebook page. The amount of people saying NB should be sacked is unbelievable

Yes it is and does not surprise me at all. They may get there wish in the summer then what ? On the drive home from Festa on saturday on 5 live Liverpool fans were equally as damming on Dalglesh. Its the way the modern day football fan works. But Nick is a stubborn so and so as we all know. As for the Facebook fans.....so what ?

how anybody can take any postivity after last night is beyond me, i agree booing is wrong, id already left so didnt hear it..
can understand the frustration tho, after fans taking time off work, spending all that money getting down there to see 1 shot on target against bottom of the league, and very little effort from most players, thats what pissed people off pompey wanted it more and that hurts, i think people can take losing, but not putting up an equal fight is unacceptable.
it wasnt poor, unfortunate, slack or unlucky it was ****ing abysmal/disgraceful/shambolic , that should be the headline on the back of the mail today, it would only be a bit of honesty

Well said Tickler, beautifully written. <ok>

Here's your reward....

WOW thanks so very much. I actually have a soft spot for Southampton and loved my days at THE DELL a true and proper football ground. From the likes of Terry Paine, Big Ron Davies, Mick Channon, Kevin keegan, Peter Shilton to name but a few. Matt Le Tissier annoyed me so much. He had so much talent yet never used it anywhere near as much as he should have.

Glad that Saints are back in the big time. Your manager(Nigel Adkins) is a good man and a legend in these parts up north. Hope that your owners dont get big time ideas to soon and do a Warnock job on him. ? Win the next 3 games and your up as champions and then you can ALLOW Reading to win on the 13th april. Stitch up the hammers big time hopefully,, imo.

All the best and good luck in the PL next season. I feel that you can do a similar job to what Swansea and Norwich have done this season. May Hull City also join you in the big league sometime sooner rather than later.!!

The answer is very simple. I lived through the Fish/Dolan years for starters, Not to mention the Mark Hateley era and with monsters like Hinchliffe andn Buchannan running the club. The dark years of that time make what is happening now seam like Barcelona - esk. Yes Pompey was bad,, but ffs lets wait until the end of the season and then chew the crud over the season. Dont panic as all is not yet lost.
