The problem is if you've got a tall person in front of you then you have a problem. I couldn't see the near touchline and I couldn't see an entire corner of the pitch.
I'm 6ft 1in so hopefully its the people behind me that have the problem After saying that I bet ya Nikola Zigic will be sitting in front of me!!
Not moaning, just wanna know what its like and want to inform the other two people going with me what it's like
Damn. Tried all morning to get through, all gone. Balls. Wouldn't of been so bad if she hadn't initially said yes and then said oh, no, I'm sorry, they have actually all gone! Long shot, but if anyone finds themselves with 2 spare tickets, I WILL be good for the money.
Don't quote me on this but my brother who seems to get the odd bit of reliable goss said they might be giving us further allocation. I guess from palace perspective bums on seats are bums on seats, I will repeat do not quote me!!
The ticket office told me this morning that 'restricted view' is barely restricted at all. I reckon they are just be talking about the pillars/upper tier.
Good luck on purchasing a ticket for the match. Hopefully you'll see Saints secure 3 points. This I think is the most important of the next three games - to give us the momentum going into the Reading match. Funnily enough I have managed to get a ticket for the Pompey game this afternoon by ringing the ticket office. I was absolutlely amazed. I'll be sampling the atmosphere from the Chapel End for the first time.
btw anyone wondering about what restricted view is like, watch this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GgVXOJR9qzs
Had a pillar near me at Dell...I swear 20 footballers would disappear behind it and never appear again with the crowd howling like dogs. Everything exciting happened behind that pillar.
What a welcome change Crystal Palace have been, compared with the likes of sad Watford who only gave us just a couple of thousend and then had the rest of the ground half empty! Well done Palace and thank you - enjoy the income!
