Umm hate to interupt but I would like to graciously congratulate Yid Vicious on his victory.
This thread is to celebrate his elevation as a forum plod.
Not sure that him becoming a mod will change anything, surely if there are deeper issues around that should be dealt with elsewhere.

I never had a problem with Ensil personally. However it's true that he could be unnecessarily rude and insulting. Not just to fans of rival clubs, either. The way I look at is, if Wum's from rival clubs come on here, I'll defend our territory - if they want to start chucking personal insults - they'll get it right back.
I very rarely post on other team's boards as I'm a Spurs fan. If I do I try to make sure that I behave myself.
The worst offenders, in my view - who should always be banned - are the persistent Wum pests, Michigan being a prime example. They never have anything sensible to say, and are just trying to stir the ****. I for one don't want to see this site turned into an infantile playground like JA 606.

I know he is a bit of a marmite poster and his obsession with grammar can be a little tiresome, but I definitely think he adds something here. This forum, surely, is all about opinions of Spurs supporters of all shapes and sizes. Unless those opinions are contrary to the law, I see no problem with them. Arguing endlessly about semantics on anything other than a PM though? Far from making folk look eloquent, makes them look stupid IMHO

YV - apologies for derailing your thread, I'm done now! We are all enjoying having YV day off from work to celebrate your elevation and so I will chill out now ahead of travelling to WHL tonight. <cheers>

They haven't even issued me with my gun and my badge yet so how am I gonna start closing things? :D

Anyway, the thread has moved away from abusing the Chelsea mods so I have no problem with it going off topic.

Should it be worrying me that I seem to agree with you more than fellow Spurs fans <yikes>

<laugh> great minds KH ;)

Didn't say that. But I am bored of this. I just hope your views are as irrelevant to our mods as they are to me. I can only speak as I find and you do seem to have a tedious vendetta against Spurs fans and from now I will just tune out your droning.

It's fine if you think my views are irrelevant, everyone is of course entitled to their own opinion which is exactly what I was giving in regards to Ensil :) you're wrong about me having a tedious vendetta against Spurs fans though, I bet you dislike Chelsea as much as I dislike Spurs, but there are a few decent posters on here who whenever I did try and interact with seriously, Ensil would stick his beak in with a snide/abusive comment. That's the problem I had.

Anyway this appears to be over so back on topic and congrats to YV <cheers>

Like I say, Chirpy, I never had a problem with Ensil myself. However, I realise that many others did. Only the mods know how many complaints there were about his behaviour. I'd be happy to see him back, others may well have a different view.

He rarely spoke about football or Spurs though, just personal rows with people and 90% of my 'moderating' was to do with him and his petty squabbles.

Nobody wants to see your 'rusty sheriff's badge' thank you, we haven't got over Ensils scrote yet! <yikes>

:D

It is ironic that this thread, which started off as being congratulatory to YV on his appointment, was derailed by the 2 moderators from the club with no ground and that, following that derailment, it has become all about the person that the club with no ground's moderators are unable to better in a debate and can only deal with by banning from their own board and conspiring, and indeed contriving, to get banned from this site.

Now might it not be an idea to change the subject and talk about the moderator or, heavens above, perhaps even Spurs?
