http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-wales-17515992 Glad he's been sent down hopefully something will be getting a good stretch whilst he's in there!!!
i never saw the original tweet but it must have been bad. what the hell goes on in these peoples heads? if you get the chance, check out stan collymore's twitter feed - its a torrent of racist abuse (which he then retweets), much of it from fans of liverpool (one of his ex clubs and hardly a surprise when you think how their club behaved earlier this season). massive, massive failings in this country's education levels
I won't use Facebook, Twitter or the like, mainly because they give loose brains like him a global audience to spew out their vile thoughts and feelings. I sincerely hope that his actions have ruined his future career, who would employ someone like that? ILD OTBC
Same here. AntiSocial networks are what they are. My wife thinks I'm nuts joining in on this site but it is kind of protracted whereas we have no intention of joining in with the nutty world that is out there. While I think the pray for Muamba business is going on a bit too long, I think its football trying to portray a better side than really exists within the game. But this areshole with his racist comments should be expelled from from every University in the land after he's no doubt relaeased after several days. Mind you his arse might vary between 15-50mm by that time.
I've seen ikt, and you might be able to find it via google. I don't care if you are "Drunk" or something. If you post something like what this guy did theres something psychologically wrong with you.
I believe he said something along the lines of (AND I'M QUOTING) "haha, I hope he dies" etc., kickitoff - that's what it said on some tabloid's website anyway. There was no mention of the racism discussed in the BBC article, so I assume he also said worse. Pretty disgusting without racism to be honest. I'll try and find the link...
http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/art...-offensive-tweet-Fabrice-Muamba.html?ITO=1490 What he actually said: "LOL [laugh out loud]. **** Muamba. He’s dead!!!"
some of what he posted isn't suitable for publication, says it all really. What a twat, hope this is a message to these people that just jump on tragedy.
What a ****ing ignorant twat, his life is probably ruined, he'll struggle to get any kind of job now. HOWEVER, I do think gaoling him is wrong, he's ****ed his life up and that's punishment enough. If he's being gaoled for that, why isn't the entire membership of the BNP also ? We must be able to lambast people for views like this, but this is England, we are supposed to be a country of free speech however abhorent we find some people's views. We have a 'black sheep' in our family who has been to court several times for burglary and worse, yet he has still to be put behind bars, the law's an ass !
To be honest, KIO, there is free speech, then there is the stuff this guy came out with. His first tweet was "LOL. **** Muamba. He's dead!!!". He then followed that with truly disgusting replies to people who were replying to him.
I know of people who have left computers and phones logged into facebook, twitter etc and the prank played by various friends, housemates, other halves even is to take over and write some hilarious but at times out of order stuff on there. What I find scary is what if someone go's on a rant using someone elses media device? Who they actually dislike.
That comes down to being more careful with your device, at the end of the day if you run an unsecure wireless network at home as the owner of the broadband YOU are responsible for the traffic flowing so if someone uses your unsecured wireless to download say child porn when the old bill come they're coming for you and you try proving you didn't do it. Ok so there won't be any on your computer but they'll still have proof it was done over your line - same with your phone, your laptop, your dongle it means you keep things secure.
Note: This was a guy studying in Swansea but from elsewhere so we're allowed to distance ourselves from his daft comments. He's actually from Pontypridd - just outside Cardiff.
Fair point mine has bloody nightmare code to access the network. What I mean though hypothetically you nip to the shops leave your laptop on the coffee table your housemates jokingly go on it are a bit half cut put stuff on your Facebook or go twitter start insulting celebrities thinking it's a laugh, then people bite and some insults are traded. Sounds slightly far fetched but **** like this will happen. Reason I say this is a couple of my mates have had their Facebooks invaded it's hilarious but if you wanted to do some serious damage the opportunity can easily present itself.
