Obviously I'm going to write in support of the stadium, but I reckon South Glos are likely to pass it without too much bother.

The real issue is what Bristol City Council does with the permission for Sainsburys at the Mem. I'm not so confident about that as BCC are widely known to be a shower of utter c***s.

21200? wow who is coming? the rolling stones, status quo. i suggest 12500 is big enough for you tnpots and visitors like ebbfleet. but good luck with your application anyway

how on earth will a 21200 seater stadium fit on hambrook common, i think south glos council will think yer having a laugh. i am!

Anyway aj our average attendance is better then yours and your team is in the play-offs and we are only 14th, oh and its better then wycombe's average attendance so go away now please

just for the records the shrews are not in the playoffs, and redorded how is your new stadium coming on, have they got barrow tanks covered yet or are you still waiting for halfords to decide if they are coming to ashton gate

so many clubs have built new stadiums and then got into financial difficulty and either folded or gone into liquidation,i am sure you wouldnt want that to happen <ok>

seriously i caution against catering for 21200 when your average gate is 8/7000. it is true gates will increase when you have your new ground. we were getting 2500 at the gay meadow but we regularly get up to 6000 now.

1ncidentally if your new ground should fall through, try barnhill quarry at sodbury. you could chisel seating out of the rocks, cover over the water and install an artificial pitch. there might be an occasional rockfall but avalanche shelters are available. i see it all now, the gas, the original sods from chipping sodbury
