fellow gasheads i urge you to read this thread on our OS forum regarding how we can help and support our stadium get planning permission. this message has come from the chairman of our supporters club jim chappell via our fans director brian seymour-smith. http://www.brfcforum.co.uk/index.ph...elp-support-our-stadium-planning-application/ come on guys...... lets get our stadium thanks guys
Obviously I'm going to write in support of the stadium, but I reckon South Glos are likely to pass it without too much bother. The real issue is what Bristol City Council does with the permission for Sainsburys at the Mem. I'm not so confident about that as BCC are widely known to be a shower of utter c***s.
21200? wow who is coming? the rolling stones, status quo. i suggest 12500 is big enough for you tnpots and visitors like ebbfleet. but good luck with your application anyway
how on earth will a 21200 seater stadium fit on hambrook common, i think south glos council will think yer having a laugh. i am!
Anyway aj our average attendance is better then yours and your team is in the play-offs and we are only 14th, oh and its better then wycombe's average attendance so go away now please
just for the records the shrews are not in the playoffs, and redorded how is your new stadium coming on, have they got barrow tanks covered yet or are you still waiting for halfords to decide if they are coming to ashton gate
if the new stadium is what the gas fans want then i hope it works out for you ,but dont let it put your club in jeopardy to build it
so many clubs have built new stadiums and then got into financial difficulty and either folded or gone into liquidation,i am sure you wouldnt want that to happen
seriously i caution against catering for 21200 when your average gate is 8/7000. it is true gates will increase when you have your new ground. we were getting 2500 at the gay meadow but we regularly get up to 6000 now. 1ncidentally if your new ground should fall through, try barnhill quarry at sodbury. you could chisel seating out of the rocks, cover over the water and install an artificial pitch. there might be an occasional rockfall but avalanche shelters are available. i see it all now, the gas, the original sods from chipping sodbury
12500 that's about what the 82ers average attendance is and have the 18th best average attendance over all, thought you were meant to be a big club you only just fill half your ground for home games so no point posting **** like that
