oh come on is that the best that you can do ?

I think at some point you, me and everyone else on here will have to admit that it's useless trying to predict results in this division. Week in, week out I would say most of the results go against expectations.Cheers. Not much damage done then overall to Hull City. The big winners are Southampton after tuesday,, imo.
They should beat Doncaster saturday and looking at Blackpools current level of defending that should be another win. Portsmouth follows and that could well be just about job done for them. With Reading(h) and Middlesboro(a) also to play saints can help us massively in the closing weeks of the season. Of course we have to do our bit as well.

The only thing I predict about City is that we will do better in our remaining away games than our home ones, but that's not rocket science, we just don't have the finishers to beat teams that park the bus.
Well ive always said that all teams will drop points and not just us. Yes i agree that away games will yeald more points than home games. Lucky for us of the 4 remaining home games feature 3 teams that cannot afford to parkl the bus as they also need all 3 points. Coventry - Middlesboro and Forest. The only thing that we can predict is that all teams will carry on dropping points. Just a case of which ones drop the least.!!!
Cheers, this one of the best threads on the forum![]()
Cheers for that, but it's not very pleasant updating the table after a home defeat.
I think Coventry will probably park the bus, as will Forest come to think of it. Leeds was a freak result for them and I can't see them going gung ho at our place

Even though you lost, the results haven't hindered your chances that badly

Moving on. After yesterday's disappointing result at Leicester we have to win at Pompey to get to 7th place. All results then being equal beating boro on Easter Monday gives us 6th on goal difference.
Ever optimistic!

Birmingham and Cardiff drawing is the perfect result for us. To be fair aside from Southampton and Reading no one else in the top places is showing any real form, sides keep dropping points and a top 6 place is up for grabs if someone can put a run together. Trouble is, we've shown little evidence aside from the Cardiff game that we can put such a run together.
Agreed. But looking at ouR next 7 fixtures dont be at all surprised to see City win the lot. 21 points heading off to West Ham who are wobbling big time. I really hope NOW that Saints and Reading take the top 2 spots. WEMBLEY ROOMS BOOKED ANYONE ?
