that we're STILL just one win away from the play offs? We've been on a pretty shabby run and the fact we're still up there shows just how ordinary a division it has been this year - even more so than normal. Yes we were unbeaten in 11 but we'd have been much better off winning 7 and losing 4.

Not quite sure what my point is other than the Championship is really crap this year.

How about the fact that when we lose we almost always lose the next game too?

Defeat yesterday was inevitable after the Soton loss

Cluster defeat syndrome?

By the same token, the fact were on such a poor run,and 2 points away from the play offs, shows just how tough this league is ?

Hmmm, nah - the poor teams are relaly poor and everyone beats them - then there are 15 teams of about the same level and 3 teams way above everyone else.

If anything it makes it more frustrating every week - teams above and around us continue to drop points, and we continue to fail to capitalize.

Exactly. In a roundabout way that's my point - all we needed to do was have a half decent run and we'd have been nailed on for the play-offs. I really cant help feel this is a massive opportunity missed.

But so does every ****er else.Surely that goes without saying ? Otherwise we wouldn't be where we are mate. And yes it is ****ing frustating, but it's the same for all.

The thing is every other team in this division is saying the same thing. Leicester fans will be thinking why on earth they are not above us. It is the nature of this division, there become more teams of the same level. Last year the division was easier and that was a bigger oppurtunity missed. Next year will seem even harder, but sides will be of the same quality, it just depends how we go about buying and selling.

i think it goes to prove that the championship is great entertainment and that it is in fact the best league in the world because of what's at stake.

god forbid we ever have to play in the Murdoch league again. the championship is much better value for money

i dont think theres 3 stand out teams and the rest of the league is crap.
I kinda think there are 10-12 really good teams in this division with only a couple of turds floating around - and even they are pulling off results (Watford , Coventry and Ipswich)

Why even turn a team out if not to win ? If you do win,you get promoted. Do you see where im going with this ?

Sorry, next time I'll just refrain from using the forum for it's primary purpose...
