Not a WUM article! Don't seem to see much opinion from you guys about Torres!

Do you think he will come good or is that dependant on a change of formation?

He plays up front for Spain with Villa and that seems to work so does he really need to be up front on his own????

Are you truly happy with the signing or a bit worried about his lack of goals and poor performances?

There's only about four people on this board, hence the lack of volume!

He is class, he looks better every game, and I will be looking at how he settles in over the close season and his performances next, but yes, I think he will be fine.

    Form is temporary etc...

I am worried by all of our strikers form to be honest, as none of them are really doing it at the moment.

i dont actually think he is playing that bad and the lack of goals is probably clouding judgement from people who probably have only seen glipses of him play for us anyway.

His movement and pace worries people so even if he is not scoring he is a distraction for defenders that allows others to come into the picture.

the only logical thought you can have on Fernando Torres is that he is garbage. Liverpoo must be laughing out loud at bagging 50 million quid for a has been. How did he ever pass a medical, the guy cannot even sprint anymore. He would of gone to you earlier but he was desperate to come to OT. Fergie could of had him for 21 million in the summer but being the wise man he is he laughed at the bin dippers. We would of been better bringing Dwight Yorke back than playing him, not like he would ever got his name on our teamsheet. 50 Million, UNBELIEVABLE. you and Citeh spend so much on crap.
Maybe you should develop players like we do and not just buy anyone because they played well once. Just buy one or two players and play them around the 8 or 9 you have brought through the ranks. 12 Premiership titles, 7 fa cups and 3 Champions Leagues ---- Is that not proof enough?

He looks lost and like he wants to leave. But he's a quality player on his day.

Can you list the one or two players that you have bought, and the 8 or 9 that you have brought through in your current first 11 please?

I should warn you that you are about to start an argument with the United version of KingPepeReina.

Although since the Premier League started I think you have brough a grand total of two players through the ranks from the academy level to play more than 100 games for the first team. Doesn't compare all that well to our eight. Although it's still more than Arsenal's one over the same period...

Bonus points to anyone who can name all eleven players I'm referring to. The qualifying criteria is that they must have been associated with the club before turning 16.

Your squad for the last match
    Man Utd
    01 Van der Sar
    03 Evra
06 Brown (Fabio Da Silva 46)
    12 Smalling
    23 Evans red card
    11 Giggs
    16 Carrick
    17 Nani
    25 Valencia
    10 Rooney
    14 Hernandez (Berbatov 46)
    Substitutes
    29 Kuszczak, 20 Fabio Da Silva, 45 Oliver Gill, 13 Park Ji-Sung, 28 Gibson, 07 Owen, 09 Berbatov

I make that 7 homegrown including the bench and 11 you have bought? Don't know the squad that well I may be wrong. 3 homegrown started.
