    garth confirms holt won't make his team of the week due to his red card. Sure Holt will lose lots of sleep over that...

    my point entirely! I think holt would be happy enough to be the second best english striker in the league, currently one off joint 5th overall!

    Love the 'did you know' stats!

    Let's hope that next year he doesn't make such a slow start! Imagine where we'd be if we'd had a full season from him!

    <cheers>

    I can imagine that if Rooney had scored a goal as good as GH did on Saturday then we would be seeing constant replays. But who cares?
    By the way I didn't know Mark Lawrenson was a Dairy farmer. Is that why we had the Foot in Mouth breakout a few years back?

    This is what Garth Crooks says on the BBC site now;

    I told Martin Keown on Final Score that I don't normally select players in my Team of the Week who get sent off. However, I think it is time I made an exception. Holt's first goal in the win over Wolves was a touch of class. Just why the club's leading scorer, skipper and cult hero is even contemplating getting into scrapes is a mystery to me. Just keep it simple, Grant. Defenders win the ball, strikers score the goals. Get it?

    Did you know? Holt's goals have won Norwich 13 points in the Premier League this season - only Robin van Persie's strikes for Arsenal (22 points won) have been more important for his side.

    I've got a slight issue with garths comment here

    Since when has he got the RIGHT to have a go at Holt?

    "Just keep it simple, Grant. Defenders win the ball, strikers score the goals. Get it? "

    Great strikers do both, moron. It's called commitment

    What a condecending comment!

    Pity we can't get a late deal on one of your "Strikers"

    I'll bookmark what you've said here for "Mug-off-ability" If you don't mind....
