He was still predicting Leicester would be automatically promoted well into January. He also seems to have a thing for West Ham, obviously what he said about their forward line makes no sense at all. A waste of space
Is out of his mind!!??...If he thinks Reading will finish top then that fair enough but How can he think that West ham will finish 2nd and we will finish 3rd!!?...What a tool. ....Does this guy even watch championship football?
He mentions Reading's game in hand which shows this was recorded a couple of matches ago, when Reading were on a roll. He would probably say something a bit different now, especially about WHU. Like many people he doesn't see what a good 'team' we are...rather than a few big names. Don't know how we've sneaked under the radar this season...not been noticed hiding at the top of the table all season.
I really do struggle to see his worth as a pundit. Clichéd and can barely spit a sentence out without tripping over his words
Good point. MSN posted the article this afternoon so maybe they've stitched him up a little bit. For the record, I don't use MSN for news - I still use Hotmail so get redirected to their home page when I log out
Probably not. A lot of pundits go for the usual suspects. We are not fashionable and, if it hadn't been for MLT, would never have been noticed in the PL.
I think were actually more fashionable now, kids seem to identity with younger players, and they all know where Bale, Walcott and Oxo came from.
Bellend. Him and Gary Neville should just go retire into the distance and stay the **** away from radio, television and internet.
can understand if he said reading would overtake us, and for us to come second. but to say west ham will be second is plain dumb, i think they will be 4th and hopefully lose in the playoffs
Robbie Savage = twat He says Reading are on a roll, well what are Saints on? 11 league matches unbeaten, we have won 5 out of 6 and we have gained more points in the last 8 matches than Reading. Idiot.
Savage is, was and aleays will be a pillock. For the record, I hated Gary Neville as a player, but he is by far the most knowledgeable football pundit I've listened to on the telly. He has really impressed me.
Like it or not, the pundit who has the most positive things to say about us is Steve Claridge - at least he watches us on a regular basis!
Yep, exactly what I thought too. He might have been right had Reading not stumbled against Doncaster and Posh, and let's face it, they didn't look as though they were going to, before they played them. By the same token, Saints have won two away matches, WHU have drawn everywhere, and the whole top three has just gone haywire. Where it was close just a match or two before, it no longer is. It just shows you how bonkers this Championship League is. I'm going to miss it.
