Oddy, take a look at Soorah in the Winter Derby on Saturday for me, can you tell me why its 9/1 in that field?

Seems generous Nass. Not sure how the form of her Meydan win stacks up but she is 2nd highest rated in the race and her course form behind Cynical reads well. I guess it comes down to whether you believe she is a 108 horse. For some reason Junoob is jumping off the page at me in that one <ok>

I thought the three that were interesting were Junoob, Soorah and Suits Me. I have backed Soorah as I think it will get punted and the 9s is generous.

All the 9/1 is gone now Nass - 8/1 top price <ok>

I remember backing Tranquil Tiger in the race 2 years ago, plenty of snow around the track if I remember correctly

Let me get my sandals on and I'll give you the winner of the winter Derby.

In the 8.30 Oddy I've gone for the outsider of the field Cape Safari, who is battle hardened after grinding out a win at Southwell, and has a chance to dictate the pace from the front here. Rio Grande is a strong traveller so he should be looking to dictate, but I don't think it'll be that easy.

My memory is getting worse - that's a trend. Just watched replay of Tranquil Tiger race - not a snowflake in sight <laugh>

Rio Grande drifting massively as well - the market always speaks volumes on the all weather (sorry Nass) so no bet for me

Massive gamble on Yes Mam in the last - 20/1 this morning and now 4/1 fav <yikes>

Looks like a real plot horse - shown nothing on 3 starts in Ireland and off the track for nearly a year <laugh>

Will likely win but I think Emerald Royal will give it a race with the first time blinkers on
