When will the replay and your game be?

Actually, that's a good question - we'll have to rearrange that, but may face a replay as well.

As the semi final dates are practically set in stone, the rearranged fixture will have to be in the next few weeks, yet still give time for the prospective replay. At a guess, the re-arranged fixture will be on a date set aside for replays, and the FA will improvise if it needs an actual replay.

It's going to be so difficult for both the Spurs and Bolton players to play with the same commitment and competitive edge after yesterday's events. It's hard to see Bolton having the fight to avoid relegation either.

Yes, you're probably right, although the Bolton players could well take a "let's do it for Fabrice" mentality.

im very happy with that..i want us to win it and i think we can....there is only one thing that stands between us and the FA cup this year and that is ourselves and our hunger..not the opposition.

Having said that i think most will agree that first and foremost we all hope Muamba pulls through...god forbid he didnt..i personally would not like to play the rest of the tournament given the chance.

Could be a Liverpool v Spurs final.

The Mousers must be quaking in their boots at that prospect.

If we can get past Bolton and Chelsea I'd love to play Everton in the final, just for the chance to beat them in the FA Cup after the humiliating 4-1 in '95. Which I went to and have never gotten over.

Rumour is that Bolton don't want to play us again in the FA cup.

I could understand it if they give us s bye.

That would be a deeply unsatisfying way to get through, and would diminish any joy in getting to Wembley

Apparently they don't want to return to WHL so soon.

They should be fined if they don't take part as it will make a mockery of the competition.

That's a bit harsh KH, considering the last 48 hours.
Just read a bit from the Mirror saying they are going to review the situation, first for their game v Blackburn at the weekend and the possible replaying of the tie the week after.

Should? Really? That's a terrible position. I understand that rules may make a fine inevitable, but you'd have to be pretty heartless to think that is the right decision.

Who did Bolton knock out? They could give their place to them if they really did not want to continue.

Nonsense.

If the rematch goes ahead it's going to be very difficult for everyone involved. I could understand if it wasn't a game they wanted to play so soon, especially if Muamba's condition worsens. They do have to come to White Hart Lane again in the league but Muamba not being there for the FA Cup rematch would be a huge elephant in the room and the match may turn into a total non-contest from both sides. It all comes down to Muamba, his family and Bolton players for me. If they don't want the rematch then there's not a man in the FA that will say a word against them.

It'd be a horrible way to qualify but, much like on saturday, there's nothing we can do about it.

Millwall. Reintroducing a knocked out team, makes the worst of an already bad situation, we're already a round behind half the competition, the only reason the Bolton game could happen is that it has to be played. I don't care how unlikely it is that Millwall would win it, it should be the same rule for all. No knocked out team should ever be reinstated, unless it was during their match that cheating occurred to cause the otherside to be knocked out.
